Xavier Woods Possibly Injured At SmackDown Live Event Last Night

Xavier Woods may have suffered a knee injury as The New Day were facing Breezango and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at last night’s WWE live event in Texarkana, Arkansas.

According to Wrestling Inc. correspondent Stephen A. Love ( @BigStevieCool95 ), who was in attendance, the injury came when Woods went for a jumping DDT and apparently pushed off the wrong way. The knee buckled and Woods went down. The referee threw up the dreaded “X” symbol to call the match and one of the Uso brothers then rolled Kofi Kingston up for a quick finish.

Woods seemed to be in pain after the rushed finish and was not able to leave on his own. He was helped to the back by Kofi, Big E and WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann. One correspondent noted that Woods “wrecked” his knee.

Xavier Woods To Co-Host SXSW Gaming Awards

Xavier Woods is heading to the SXSW Gaming Awards!

Woods, the host of WWE’s YouTube gaming channel UpUpDownDown, has been announced as a co-host for the event, along with popular Twitch personality “OMGitsfirefoxx,” aka Sonja Reed.

The 2017 SXSW Gaming Awards will award 100 nominees in 23 different categories. New categories this year include Trending Game of the Year, Fan Creation of the Year and Esports Game of the Year. The SXSW Gaming Conference & Festival is a gaming and geek culture experience and Woods will bring the WWE touch to it this year!

Woods, an avid gamer, is the perfect choice as co-host. His own YouTube gaming channel, UpUpDownDown, where he’s known by his gamer tag Austin Creed, is the home to popular shows like Gamer Gauntlet and Superstar Savepoint, and continues to be a must-watch channel for gamers around the world.

Catch Woods and Reed host the 2017 SXSW Gaming Awards on March 18 at 8 p.m. in Austin, Texas!

WWE Already Dropped New Faction

Apparently WWE has already dropped the new faction of Xavier Woods, Big E & Kofi Kingston. In the dark match before last night’s WWE Main Event broadcast in Seattle, Big E got a babyface pop and came out by himself and defeated Fandango. Kofi worked last night’s Main Event and lost to Seth Rollins. There was no mention of the faction with Woods & Big E and Kofi was back to his normal gimmick. Adam Rose defeated Woods in the dark match before the SmackDown tapings began. Like Kofi & Big E, Woods was back to his normal gimmick. It was reported by F4WOnline that if the faction wasn’t mention on last night’s Main Event then it was to be considered officially dropped.
