As Trevor, my partner here on DTRT Wrestling News, and I discussed the fallout from Kevin Nash’s comments in regards to Chris Beniot and Eddie Guerrero we started to discuss what we could do to show our appreciation to Vickie Guerrero and her girls. We know that it must be difficult to hear Eddie’s name being used in a negative light and so we started to brainstorm a little bit, but let me regress.
Trevor and I have talked several times about Vickie strong faith in Jesus Christ. Here are Vickie’s own words from My Vickie Guerrero.com and not only her words, but the very first words on her homepage.
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for stopping by and visiting. The success I have had in the WWE and personally could not have been possible without the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only one that I can put my faith and trust in everyday. My two beautiful daughters, Shaul and Sherilyn, gave me the courage and strength to be the independent woman that I am today. I pray that I am the role model for them to use their voice in choosing goals and high standards for their lives.
Vickie is obviously an emotional person, as seen in this video where she talks about her late husband who was being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
We show that to again show what kind of person that Vickie Guerrero really is.
Now, neither Trevor nor I have ever met Vickie. We would love to, and we would love to interview her for our site, but we haven’t reached out to her about what we are going to promote.
If you would like to show your support for Eddie Guerrero and all the hard work he put in to entertaining us fans, and to show Vickie and their girls how much you love and respect them, lets all do this:
Support Eddie Guerrero’s Memory as a Wrestling Champion by purchasing items at My Vickie Guerrero.com’s store.
I can’t think of a more appropriate way to show how much we disagree with what Kevin Nash said than by paying tribute to Eddie and helping Vickie and her family financially. We can show that Eddie may be gone, but his legacy lives on and he is still supporting his family. And that regardless of what his size was – he was a fantastic champion and an even better person!
God bless you Vickie Guerrero for your love of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
