Earlier this week, Sasha Banks may have indicated that she wants to jump from RAW to SmackDown Live when she posted a cryptic tweet. A fan tweeted a GIF of her holding the RAW Women’s Title with a caption that said, “soon Lil Boss Jr will come home.” Sasha responded with the following tweet:

Sasha Banks Celebrates 3rd WWE RAW Women’s Championship Win With Ric Flair (VIDEO)

Sasha Banks once again proved that she is a legit boss tonight on Raw … by becoming a 3-time WWE RAW Women’s Champion and celebrating with her opponent’s famous father.
Banks faced off with Charlotte in a Falls Count Anywhere match and proceeded to get revenge for her Hell in a Cell loss by making the champion tap out in her hometown.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair came out to afterward to raise Banks’ arm in victory following the defeat of his daughter — which isn’t too surprising considering their on-screen split earlier this year.

Ric Flair Claims Big Spots Were Pulled From Women’s HIAC, One “Involved A Moonsault” (AUDIO)
Hell in a Cell is known for it’s death-defying moments … but Ric Flair claims that two big spots were pulled from the first women’s HIAC match this weekend due to WWE officials fearing the outcome.
Flair talked about the match on Busted Open Radio today saying, “They took two huge spots out of the match, during the match, because they were afraid Sasha Banks was going to get hurt.”
He continued saying, “If the original plan had been, there were two things and I don’t want to say what they were, but you can only imagine. One of them involved a moonsault.”
Flair recently hinted that Charlotte wanted to do a moonsault off the top of the cell — so it’s hard not to speculate that he’s talking about that.

Backstage News On The Finish For The Sasha Banks Vs. Charlotte Match At WWE Hell In A Cell
As seen at WWE Hell In A Cell last night, Sasha Banks lost the WWE RAW Women’s Championship in her hometown of Boston, MA to Charlotte Flair in the main event of the show. It was the first time that a women’s match has headlined a WWE pay-per-view.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the original finish – much like the original finish at SummerSlam in August – was for Sasha to go over, however Vince McMahon had it changed. Although the reason for the change is not known, the decision was made to go with a Charlotte vs. Bayley program sooner than originally planned.
More From Mick Foley On WWE Hell In A Cell Main Event
As noted, RAW General Manager Mick Foley edited his Facebook announcement on Charlotte vs. RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks being the main event of the October 30th Hell In a Cell pay-per-view, now saying the match will be “a main event” and that he doesn’t know what the official main event will be yet. Foley elaborated in the comments section of the Facebook post, seen here:
“The match order for #HIAC Will probably not be finalized until hours before the actual show, so each member of the WWE Universe can decide for themselves what their main event is. Regardless of where the women’s match is placed on the card, both Sasha and Charlotte should absolutely feel like they are the main event – as should Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. It’s a competitive business, and that competitive spirit should bring out the best in everyone on October 30th.”

Mick Foley Reveals Which Cell Match Will Main Event WWE Hell In A Cell
WWE RAW General Manager Mick Foley took to Facebook and announced that Charlotte vs. RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will main event the October 30th Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.
Foley posted the following on Facebook:
CHILLS
Forget for a moment about Stephanie McMahon’s jumping high-five or my awkward attempt to hug the #RAW Comissioner. The biggest moment of the night for us came when the #WWE cameras were off, and Stephanie and I just looked at the #HIAC poster, realizing that for #WomensWrestling, history is upon us – as Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event the #HIAC PPV. I am so happy for Sasha, for Charlotte, for all the women who paved the way, and all those who aspire to follow in their footsteps. It is no exaggeration to say that looking at that poster gave me chills…and they were multiplying.

News On Sasha Banks’ Injury

Sasha Banks reportedly does not need surgery for her back injury and she’s expected back sooner than originally feared. She’s currently advertised for WWE live events beginning September 23rd and Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that she will likely be out for just 1-2 months, not 6 months as originally feared. Sasha was examined at RAW on Monday.
Sasha Banks Scheduled For Medical Evaluation, Dealing With Back Issue
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Sasha Banks is scheduled for an evaluation with doctors at the beginning of September, due to pain she’s dealing with in the lower lumbar section of her back.
For those who missed it, Banks lost the Women’s Championship to Charlotte Sunday night at SummerSlam. She was also reportedly removed from upcoming live event appearances.
No word on whether she’ll still appear on RAW until the evaluation, but we can only assume the possible injury factored into their decision to have her drop the title.
WWE mentioned in their preview for tonight’s RAW that Sasha suffered a back injury during the loss to Charlotte at SummerSlam. As noted, Sasha has been dealing with the injuries and the change was planned for about a week.
