Ryback Out With Staff Infection
WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback has a staff infection in his right knee and he will not be able to defend his title against Big Show and The Miz at WWE Battleground pay-per-view this Sunday.

The Authority Fires Dolph Ziggler, Ryback & Erick Rowan (Video)
Last night on RAW, to “thank” John Cena for bringing back The Authority, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon celebrated Cena’s career and ended RAW with the jaw-dropping announcement that Dolph Ziggler, Ryback & Erick Rowan are fired.

“Feed Me More” Ryback Returned To Action
Last night on RAW “The Big Guy” Ryback returned to action. Ryback was out recovering from hernia surgery. Ryback made his return by answering a open challenge issued by Bo Dallas. Ryback easily destroyed Dallas as he feed off the energy from the crowd with the ‘feed me more’ chants. Ryback is back a babyface instead of the heel as we last seen him.

2 WWE Superstars Returning To TV Soon
Ryback & Curtis Axel should be returning to WWE TV Soon, likely within the next month. Ryback was out recovering from hernia surgery & Axel was kept off TV while Ryback was recovering.

Ryback Gives Health Update
Ryback gave an update on his health in the video above. Ryback says he’s been working injured for about 7 months with strained groins & hernias. Ryback promised that he’s coming back in a big way, things will go his way & everybody will know, Ryback Rules!
Update On Ryback’s Return
Michael Cole mentioned on WWE Main Event that Ryback will be out of action for 2 weeks. PWInsider is reporting that the word backstage last night is that Ryback will be back by late September. WWE sources do not believe he is injured.

Is Ryback Taking Some Time Off?
Ryback was not on RAW last night & he took to Twitter & sent out a tweet that he is going away for a while to get some stuff fixed & that he has not been himself for quite some time. He ended the tweet with – Ps sorry punk… with a photo of his & CM Punk’s action figures with his standing over top of Punk’s laying flat on it’s back.
The tweet has now been removed. Let it be known that Ryback has in the past joked about being released, so who knows if Ryback is being serious & pulling one over on us again.
If Ryback is really taking some time off & with the return of Big Show & Mark Henry as fan favorite tag team, this could explain the heel turn last night on RAW by Gold & Stardust when they assaulted the WWE Tag Champs The Usos.

Ryback Continues Reference Goldberg At WWE Live Events
At WWE live events, Ryback continues to reference Bill Goldberg & uses his finishing moves. Celebrating his birthday Sunday at a WWE live event in Glasgow, Ryback made Tony Chimel lead everyone in singing happy birthday to him. Ryback said he would be talking a big Goldberg dump on Glasgow after the match.
