WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler have been announced for a special one-hour RAW 25th Anniversary pre-show this coming Monday night. They will join Renee Young, Sam Roberts, Peter Rosenberg and David Otunga on the panel. Later Lawler & JR will call matches on the RAW 25th Anniversary broadcast from the Manhattan Center’s Grand Ballroom.
The RAW 25th Anniversary pre-show will air at 7pm EST on the WWE Network, the WWE website, the WWE App and WWE’s social media platforms.

Jeff Hardy is expected to be at next Monday’s RAW 25th Anniversary special in New York City but obviously won’t be wrestling. Hardy is now being advertised for the event by WWE. Hardy has been out of action since September after undergoing surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. On a related note, WWE has confirmed Christian’s appearance as he is now being advertised as well. We noted before that WWE Hall of Famer Edge won’t be appearing because he will be out of the country that day.
Mark Henry has been confirmed for the RAW 25th Anniversary show next Monday.

Despite being advertised, Kevin Nash says he’s unable to make an appearance next week at Monday Night Raw‘s 25th anniversary episode.
Nash tweeted saying, “Was so looking forward to being a part of RAW 25. It’s nearly impossible to travel on our down sized airlines healthy. With a total knee replacement it would be self inflicted torture. See ya everyone at Mania.”

Former RAW General Manager and WCW Executive Vice President Eric Bischoff has been booked for the WWE RAW 25th Anniversary show, according to PWInsider. The big event will take place on January 22nd from two locations in New York City – the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.
This would be Bischoff’s first WWE TV appearance since 2007, the RAW 15th Anniversary special.

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle revealed on Twitter that Samoa Joe suffered an injury in the match with Rhyno on last night’s RAW, causing him to be pulled from WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge.
The injury to Joe is legitimate and not a part of the storylines. No word yet on when he will be back in action but he’s suffering from a right foot injury and will be undergoing an MRI. As noted, Joe announced on RAW that he will be in the 30-man Royal Rumble match later this month.
“During his match, [Samoa Joe] felt a pop at the bottom of his [right] foot,” said WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann. “We took a look and believe he has a plantar fascia rupture, which is a thick tissue rupture under the foot. We will get an MRI to confirm. Treatment includes a period of immobilization in a boot with crutches and platelet rich plasma injections.”
