Cena said he & Bryan share the same passion & that’t why he chose him for the match. Cena talked about his injury. Cena said 2 weeks ago the WWE medical staff told him the giant ball of fluid on his elbow was due to a torn tricep. Cena said they told him to go home & have surgery & thay will cancel the SummerSlam match. Cena said he refused. Cena said he isn’t using this as an excuse, last night he was defeated by a  better man in a clean fight. Cena said when someone told him that Triple H handed the WWE Championship to Orton he was disgusted, offended & disgraced. Cena said said he’s not putting off surgery any longer & he will be out from 4 to 6 months. Cena said he will miss all this. Cena said before he goes he wants to introduce a man that has earned the right to be WWE Champion. Cena introduced Bryan to the ring. Cena shook Bryan’s hand & left the ring. Before Bryan could say anything Stephanie McMahon came out to the ring. Stephanie said she is sorry. She said Bryan deserved the WWE Championship & he did not deserve to have his dream snatched away like that but she hopes Bryan can understand Triple H was just doing what was best for business. Fans chanted No! Bryan said it seems like some people here disagree. Bryan said he expected that from Stephanie or Mr. McMahon but Triple H was a rebel the leader of DX but now he wears a suit & has a corporate haircut. Bryan said he guesses what they say is true, when you lie down with trash sooner or later you start to stink. Stephanie said to Bryan that she understands that he is upset & she is going to let that slide. Bryan said oh that’s great what are you going to do fire me. Bryan said he isn’t a afraid of getting fired. Stephanie said to Bryan that nobody wants to fire him. She said Bryan is very valued here & incredibly talented but she needs to manage his expectations. She said not everyone can be the face of the company & can be WWE Championship material. Stephanie mocked his size & said Bryan might not be an A but he is a solid B+. Bryan said she is starting to remind him of a word that starts with the letter B. Bryan said he doesn’t have to be relegated to being a B+. Bryan said he can be WWE Champion & he doesn’t care what Stephanie thinks. Stephanie said that she suggest he calms down. Bryan knocked the mic out of her hand. Stephanie got another mic & told Bryan to calm down,. Stephanie said she isn’t going to be intimidated by him & said he is being unprofessional & she wont stand for it. Stephanie called for security & had them escort Bryan from the building.

Cody Rhodes VS Damien Sandow: Rhodes got the win.

Backstage Raw GM Brad Maddox talked about some wrestlers expressing their opinions about what happened at SummerSlam. Maddox showed a comment that Dolph Ziggler made about Triple H. Ziggler commented, “I wondered what his intentions were. To be honest, I have never trusted him since I started working here.” Maddox put Ziggler in a 3 on 1 handicap match against The Shield. Maddox said he wanted to give Ziggler a chance to show off.

Paul Heyman in the ring. He talked about Brock Lesnar defeating CM Punk. Heyman said he has to admit Punk gave Lesnar all he could handle. Heyman said now it is time to end the family feud. Heyman said he forgives Punk 7 he would take Punk back when Punk apologizes to him. Heyman said Punk is better with him than without. Heyman said he still loves Punk. Heyman said he would guide Punk back to the WWE Championship & would take him to the main event of WrestleMania & together they would be the best in the world.

Backstage The Funkadactyls was stretching before their match. The Bella Twins approached & told them thay they wanted to wish them luck in their match because they’re representing their show Total Divas.

3 on 1 Handicap Match: Dolph Ziggler VS The Shield: The Shield got the win. After the match The Shield triple powerbombed Ziggler.

Alberto Del Rio VS Sin Cara: During the match Sin Cara got hurt & Sin Cara motioned to the ref. The doctor checked on Sin Cara but Del Rio tossed Sin Cara back into the ring. The ref tried to keep Del Rio away from Sin Cara. The ref called for the bell. Del Rio stomped on Sin Cara & the ref backed Del Rio away from Sin Cara. Del Rio was awarded the win. After the match Del Rio spoke. Del Rio said he proved at SummerSlam why he is the greatest World heavyweight Champion in history. Del Rio said most important he proved to all the Latino community that they finally have someone to cheer for. Del Rio talked about being a hero to the Latino’s. Ricardo Rodriguez came out & said Del Rio isn’t a hero. Ricardo said he is glad he doesn’t represent Del Rio anymore. Ricardo said he represents someone new. Ricardo introduced Rob Van Dam. RVD came out & went after Del Rio. Del Rio escaped the ring just as RVD was about to hit a 5 Star Frog Splash.

The Real Americans VS Prime Time Players: Before the match Zeb Colter mad some insulting remarks. Prime Time Players got the win.

Renee Young backstage with Big Show. She asked about the rumors of him teaming with Mark Henry to go after The Shield & the Tag Team Titles. Big Show said the rumors are true. Maddox came in & said Big Show made some disparaging remarks about Triple H. Big Show said he did & that this is America & it’s freedom of speech. Maddox put Big show in a 3 on 1 handicap with The Shield. Maddox said all 3 members of The Shield will be allowed in the ring at the same time. Big Show said are you sure you want to do that to the Shield.

CM Punk came to the ring & talked about what Paul Heyman said. Punk yelled at a fan who was booing him. Punk called him fatso & challenged him to a fight. Punk called Heyman out to the ring & said Heyman may get what he wants. Heyman came out with Curtis Axel. Punk said he got his *ss kicked last night but he is still standing. Punk said he is sorry, he is sorry he took his eyes off of Brock Lesnar for a split second to enact his revenge on Heyman & he is sorry that revenge wasn’t enough. He is sorry he didn’t take Heyman’s arm off & take it home with him, he is sorry he didn’t break Heyman’s face. Punk said next time he gets his hands on Heyman he will choke him out wake him up & spit in his face & take his arm off & take it home with him. Punk said he is relentless & he wont stop & doesn’t care who Heyman puts in front of him. Punk said he is going to get his hands on Heyman & get his revenge. Punk wants to do it right now & said fight me like a man. Heyman said he is sorry for what is about to happen to Punk. Heyman sent Axel rto the back to get his hands tapped for a fight. Heyman said Punk has pushed him to far & said he can be the worst nightmare Punk has ever encountered. Heyman said if Punk is still in the ring after the break then Axle is going to finish the job that Lesnar started last night.

Back from the break Punk is still in the ring. Punk is sitting in a steel chair. Heyman & Curtis Axel came out. Punk & Axel fight. The fight went back & forth but Punk eventually beat down Axel. Punk stared at Heyman. Heyman backed up the ramp staring back at Punk.

Vince said Randy Orton is a Champ we all can be proud of. Vince said he is proud of Triple H, he had his doubts but in the end he did the right thing. Vince hugged Triple H. Triple h said the fans can never see the big picture. Triple H said he did what he did last night to ensure the future of the WWE, he did it for the fans & all the people on the ramp, he did it for Vince & for Vince’s grandfather & father. he did it for his wife & children so the WWE will continue to exist in everybody’s future. Triple H went on about how he likes Daniel Bryan. Triple H said Bryan deserved to win but not to be WWE Champion.. Triple H said we deserve better than that. Triple H said we deserve A+ not B & that’s what he gave us last night. Triple H said he didn’t want to do that to Bryan & it hurt him personally to do it. Triple H said do you think I liked doing that with Orton. Triple H said hell no. Triple H said there is a lot of bad blood between them but he buried his personal feelings for what was right. Triple H said Bryan saying he has a personal problem with this is selfish. Triple H said you do what is right for business. Triple H brought out Randy Orton. Orton shook hands with Vince & Triple H & hugged Stephanie. Orton said “I told you so, I told you when I cashed in you wouldn’t see it coming.” Orton thanked Triple H for what he did last night. Bryan came out & was attacked by The Shield as he was entering the ring. The Shield beat Bryan down. Triple H called The Shield off & told Bryan to come in the ring. Triple H taunted Bryan as he struggled to pull himself up & into the ring. As soon as Bryan got in the ring Orton laid out Bryan with a RKO. Vince, Orton, Triple H & Stephanie celebrate with their arms raised.

Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett: Raw GM Brad Maddox was Special Guest Referee: Barrett rolled Bryan up & Maddox made a fast 3 count. Barrett got the win. After the match Bryan backed Maddox into the corner & went after him but Maddox was able to get out of the way & escaped the ring.

Damien Sandow vs Randy Orton: Cody Rhodes did commentary during the match. Sandow handcuffed his Money In The Bank briefcase to ring. Later in the match Rhodes left the announce table & went over & tried to get the briefcase. Sandow argued with Rhodes. Orton took advantage of the distraction & hit Sandow with a RKO for the win.

The Shield Backstage, Seth Rollins said the old guard has got to go, it’s time for a new generation to rise up & that they are the emerging leaders of that generation. Rollins said we’re younger, hungrier & better. Roman Reigns made a challenge to anybody who wants to step up to try & take the Tag Team Titles from them. Dean Ambrose talked about tonight’s Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for his United States Championship. Ambrose said nobody in the Battle Royal could beat him because he is the unbeatable Champion in this industry. Ambrose said CM Punk is a catch phrase & that he is the best in the world. Ambrose said John Cena has a trophy & that he is the real WWE Champion because his Championship is the one everyone runs from. Ambrose said if Andre The Giant’s Ghost isn’t in the Battle Royal then he isn’t losing at Summer Slam. “Believe in The Shield.”

Backstage Josh Mathews with CM Punk. Mathews asked Punk about his match tonight with Paul Heyman. Punk said there isn’t a man alive that is afraid of Heyman in a one on one fight. Punk said last week Brock Lesnar told Heyman to say something stupid & it appears that he did but Heyam isn’t stupid. Punk said it’s all a chess game to Heyman. punk said he has a good feeling that he will see a little bit of Lesnar tonight. Punk said Lesnar likes to say the beast is the best. Punk said when it’s all said & done & when everything is on the line the best is the best.

Natalya & The Great Khali vs AJ Lee & Big E Langston: Natalya made AJ tap out with a Sharpshooter but it appears the referee missed up because he didn’t count it. Natalya went to the ref to get her hand raised but he didn’t  do it. Natalya put the Sharpshooter on AJ again & AJ tapped out & this time the ref counted it. Natalya & Khali wins. After the match Big E attacked Khali from behind & Big E grabbed Hornswoggle & tossed him to the mat & kicked him out the ring & when Big E turned around Khali nailed him with a big overhead chop.

Mr. Vince McMahon came to the ring & talked about the match earlier between Daniel Bryan & Wade Barrett. Vince brought out Brad Maddox & asked him why he appointed himself the referee for the match. Maddox said Daniel Bryan matches tent to get out of hand & he thought the WWE Universe would appreciate an authority figure who has the guts to make the right decision. Vince said you have to admit that was a fast count. Maddox said he can admit to being a little excited it’s the first time he has had on the referee shirt in a while. Maddox said it wasn’t intentional & he did the best he could. Vince said there is no need to apologize if he did the best he could everybody makes mistakes. Maddox said he wants a second chance. Vince said a second chance at what. Maddox said he wants to be the official for the Cena & Bryan match at Summer Slam. Vince asked if he would be impartial & call it right down the middle. Maddox said yes. Vince said would you stop calling Bryan names like troll & dwarf & stop talking about Bryan’s toothpick like physique. Maddox said yes. Vince started to announce Maddox as the ref for the Cena vs Bryan match. Triple H interrupted & came to the ring. Vince said to Maddox that Triple H hasn’t been the same since he cut his hair. Triple H said given the importance of this match Sunday it seems to him that there is a whole lot more on the line than the WWE Championship & he agrees with Vince that there needs to be somebody who can take control of the match, somebody impartial who will call it right down the line & somebody who has the guts to do what is right & not be intimidated by anyone. Triple H said he doesn’t think Vince is referring to Maddox, it seem an awful lot like Vince is referring to him. Triple H laid out Maddox with a Pedigree. Vince was mad. Triple H will be the special guest referee for the Cena & Bryan match at Summer Slam.

Kane vs Titus O’Neil: Kane got the win. After the match the lights went out & The Wyatt Family came to the ring. Bray Wyatt sat in the rocking chair & Erick Rowans & Luke Harper went to attack Kane in the ring but when the light came on Kane wasn’t there he was up the isle. Kane set off his ring pyro. Wyatt just laughed.

Brie said Nattie can’t fight for anything because they’re in complete control of the Diva’s division. Natalya came in & made a challenge to Brie for Summer Slam. Natalya said Brie can bring Nikki & that wannabe Jessica Rabbit over there. Eva Marie walked in & said what did you call me. Natalya said she is bringing some friends of her own. The Funkadactyls walked in. Natalya said Brie did a good job covering the whelp on her face from when she slapped her. Brie said you can totally see yours & slapped Natalya.

Miz told Bryan that hell of a fight is Cena code for your going to lose & it’s obvious Cena doesn’t respect him & chose him to ride his wave of popularity & give him an easy win. Bryan threatened to hit The Miz in the mouth if he doesn’t shut up. Bryan said he doesn’t get why Cena & people like him think he can only put up a hell of a fight. Bryan said last week Cena came out here & did what he does best & made some explosive remarks & got the WWE Universe on their feet. Cena said please think that he is a joke or parody because everybody else thought the same thing & he beat them all a list that includes Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton, CM Punk & The Rock. Bryan said you talk about these people like they’re better than me. Cena Bryan doesn’t belong in that class. Cena said respect isn’t given it’s earned. Cena said he will only respect Bryan if he beats him Sunday for the Championship. Bryan said he wishes he could do that to Cena but he can’t because Cena isn’t a wrestler & he doesn’t deserve it. Cena motioned for Bryan to slap him then slapped Bryan. Bryan laughed. Cena said come on. Bryan said you don’t deserve it. Triple H came to the ring & got between them. Randy Orton came out & stood on the stage holding up his Money In The Bank briefcase.

Fandango VS R-Truth: They ended up having a dance off then got in a fight. The match never got started.

United States Championship #1Contender Battle Royal Match: Rob Van Dam, Tensai, Brodus Clay, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Ryback, Justin Gabriel, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Fandango, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Kofi Kingston, Wade Barrett, Mark Henry: The last 3 in the match was Ryback, Henry & RVD. Henry & RVD eliminated Ryback. RVD eliminated Henry for the win to become #1 contender & will face Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship Sunday on the Summer slam kickoff show. After the match The Shield came down & surrounded RVD & Henry in the ring. The Big Show came to the ring & The Shield retreated.

Paul Heyman VS CM Punk: Heyman came to the ring & said do you here them Punk your worshippers are calling for their hero. Heyman said he doesn’t blame Punk for everything that has happened he blames the WWE Universe. Heyman said the fans took Punk away from him so tonight he will take the fans worship of their hero away from them. Heyman talked about hearing that this is a trap. Heyman said it’s a trap. Heyman said it’s an conspiracy & he has a co-conspirator. Heyman brought out Brock Lesnar. He showed a video of Lesnar beating up Punk. Heyman said Punk can play the hero & come out here & fight him & Lesnar. Heyman said heroes are stupid. Heyman said Punk doesn’t have to play the hero &tuck his tail between his legs & walk out the back & live to fight another day. Heyman said what is ii going to be Punk are you going to be the smart coward or are you going to play the stupid hero. CM Punk’s music is played & Punk came in from behind & nailed Lesnar with a video camera he took from a cameraman. He hit Lesnar 2 more time with it. Lesnar rolled out of the ring. Punk dove through the ropes onto Lesnar. Punk got a chair & hit Lesnar with it twice. Punk then set his sights on Heyman. Heyman ranup the ramp & Punk followed after him. Curtis Axel came out to save Heyman. Punk hit Axel with the chair & tossed him into the led screen on the stage & laid out Axel with a GTS. Punk stared down at Lesnar who was still down at ringside. Punk yelled “I am the best in the world.”
