The Raw crowd gets vocal

This past Monday WWE Monday Night Raw took place from San Jose California. The Raw following WrestleMania always has one of the craziest crowds and this Monday was no exception.

The crowd was on fire all night long but one of the most notable chants was during the divas match. More specifically the chants directed at the Bella Twins. The chants were you suck Cena and you suck Bryan.

Both Trevor and I agree that although we may not agree with those chants as a fan when you buy a ticket you have the right to cheer what you want. Not to mention as said before its a post mania crowd so it’s to be expected.

The Bella’s took to their Twitter to respond to the chants and I have to say I absolutely love the smart ass reply

So what did you guys think about the chants? Were you offended? Did you find them humerous? Sound off in the comments below.

Huge Ratings For Post-WrestleMania 31 Episode Of RAW

The USA Network issued the following:

USA NETWORK’S WWE ‘MONDAY NIGHT RAW’ ATTRACTS LARGEST AUDIENCE IN NEARLY THREE YEARS

5.4 Million Total Viewers Tuned-In to See Their Favorite WWE Superstars Live, Following a Record-Breaking WrestleMania

New York, NY – April 1, 2105 – Following WRESTLEMANIA 31, where Seth Rollins won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship, this week’s WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW delivered 2.4 million adults 18-49, 2.4 million adults 25-54 and 5.4 million total viewers from 8-11 p.m. (live + same). This is the highest total viewers for RAW in nearly three years, since July 23, 2012, the night of the RAW 1000 special.

Monday’s RAW was televised live from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA, and was highlighted by Brock Lesnar challenging Rollins, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, to a rematch; United States Champion John Cena defending his title against Dean Ambrose; and Intercontinental Champion defeating Dolph Ziggler.

Monday’s RAW was up vs. last week’s telecast by 27% in adults 18-49, 24% in adults 25-54 and 28% in total viewers 2+. USA was the #1 network Monday night in primetime in adults 18-34 as well as men 18-34 and 18-49 for all of television including the broadcast networks.

RAW was also the #2 most social show of the day with 400,000 tweets, reaching a unique audience of 3.6 million people generating 27 million impressions.

Could Jim Ross Return To WWE?

This past Monday on RAW a irate Brock Lesnar went on a rampage after Seth Rollins refused to give him his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Title that night. Lesnar took out the entire RAW broadcast team. Lesnar delivered an F5 to Michael Cole. Later that night Byron Saxton announced that Cole suffered a cervical spine injury from the attack.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE is trying to do everything they can to get WWE Hall of Famer announcer Jim Ross back. JR attended this past weekend’s NXT show and received a shout-out from Triple H. JR has said several times on his podcast that he doesn’t plan to announce wrestling shows on a weekly basis anymore, but that could change if WWE makes the right offer.

Nobody is expecting that Cole will be back next week. Cole could be kept off the show several weeks, which would leave the play-by-play spot open. Saxton could be used again next week on RAW, but it’s also possible that next week’s show could see the return of the greatest announcer in wrestling history, Jim Ross.
