WWE is currently planning a women’s tournament which will be similar to the Cruiserweight Classic. Though WWE is yet to confirm the tournament, former TNA Knockout Angelina Love has already expressed her interest. The six-time TNA Women’s Knockout champion, Angelina tweeted out the following and was met with positive response from the fans.

Austin Aries’ Eye Injury Worse Than Initially Expected, Surgery Scheduled
Doctors have determined that the eye injury Austin Aries suffered last week was worse than they initially thought, and now he’s set to go under the knife to fix the problem.
Our sources tell us that even though it didn’t seem to be serious the following day, doctors took a look at the CT scan a few days later and realized surgery would be necessary.
PWInsider first reported yesterday that Aries suffered a large orbital fracture and will be out of action until early 2017. As we previously reported, AA was hit with a superkick gone wrong by Shinsuke Nakamura at an NXT live event and the match had to be stopped early.
We’re told his surgery is scheduled for Thursday, but he’s currently feeling much better.

Hideo Itami Injury Update
As noted, Hideo Itami was pulled from the WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic due to a neck injury he suffered a few weeks back. Word is that Itami will be out of action for just two months, indicating he does not need surgery. He could have been out of action for more than 6 months with surgery.

Mickie James Returning To WWE At NXT Takeover
It’s been over six years since Mickie James last wrestled for WWE … but tonight the company announced that she’ll be in a match at NXT Takeover.
The announcement that James would face Asuka at NXT Takoever: Toronto for the NXT Women’s Championship was made on social media and during a live taping of the WWE Network show.
According to WWE.com, “Asuka has claimed that no one is ready to challenge her. The NXT Women’s Champion’s theory will be put to the test at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, when she defends her title against the returning Mickie James.”
NXT Takeover: Toronto takes place November 19th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

SAnitY Revealed In WWE NXT (Video)
As seen in the video below, “SAnitY” was revealed to be Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton on Wednesday night’s WWE NXT episode on the WWE Network
Wolfe and Fulton advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, defeating Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger after Roode bailed on Dillinger.
Wolfe and Fulton will now face the winners of Hideo Itami and Kota Ibushi vs. Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali.
