The video was posted via twitter by pro MMA fighter Roxanne Modaferri (@RoxyFighter) the video shows her demonstrating “Ninja Fist” on fellow MMA fighter and friend Shayna Baszler (@QOSbaszler) followed by Shayna applying the sharpshooter on Roxanne.
Good stuff and it put a smile on my face, so I wanted to share.

Marina Shafir set to make pro debut
News broke about 10 mins ago via Twitter and ArmbarNation that “The SuperNova from Moldova” (Marina Shafir) will be making her pro debut on April 12th in Hollywood California. Check out marina’s tweet here
Damn I got to admit I’m stoked. marina Shafir’s pro debut on April 12th, Shayna Baszler’s ufc debut April 16th, Jessamyn Duke’s 2nd ufc bout on April 26th and let’s not forget Ronda Rousey’s title defense this Saturday at ufc 170
This is great news for fans of the 4Horsewomen and WMMA fans in general

Shayna Baszler interview
Hey guys!
Great news, I have a fully charged phone and a new charger. Which means I will indeed be covering UFC 170 and all Monday night Raw’s going forward
However the bigger news is that after much planning and communication, WMMA fighter Shayna Baszler has Graciously agreed to be interviewed by me via right here on DTRTWRESTLING
The interview will take place march 18th at 2pmPST/4 or 5 EST depending on how many hours ahead you are California time

Coverage changes
He guys. It pains me to report this but at the moment my phone is at 53% and my charger is no longer working. I may be getting a new one in the next couple of days but if I don’t once my phone dies I will be MIA meaning I won’t be able to do live tweeting during Raw or live coverage during UFC170. I’m truly sorry guys. I wanted to give you all a heads up. Hopefully I’ll get a charger soon and I will be able to do the coverage. Thanks guys.

Marina Shafir announces she’s moving to pro competition.
Just found out that one of the 4Horsewomen and one of my favorite fighters who I had the pleasure of seeing seeing fight this last Sunday when she defeated Nicole “Figet” Upshaw to maintain a perfect record of 5-0 (Marina Shafir) is moving to pro competition. Read more here
The question is when will this happen and when it does will the UFC start sigining 145lbs women since that’s the weight Shafir currently fights in?? Or will she drop to the 135lbs weight class and take on competitors such as her friends Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler, or even UFC women’s battemweight champion Ronda Rousey???
I guess only time will tell, but one thing is forsure. I’m so happy about this announcement and so proud of the Super Nova from Moldova

MAJIOR last min announcement.
Ok guys so here’s the deal. Late evening I won a pair of tickets to the U of MMA fight night event Courtesy of ArmBarNation via twitter. With that being said I will be doing live coverage of the event right here on DTRTwrestling. I may have to leave the event early in order to catch the train home but non the less you will get coverage while I’m there. Event starts at 4 so MMA fans rejoice. I got your back

Shayna Baszler set to make ufc debut
So some pretty excited news broke out this morning. I woke up and my TL on twitter was blowing up with the news that my favorite WMMA fighter Shayna “The Queen of Spades” Baszler will be making her UFC debut on April 16th at the ultimate fighter nations final which will air on fox sports 1. Her opponent will be Sara Kaufman
Being a huge fan of Baszler and the fact that I’ve had numerous casual conversations with her on twitter you all know who I’m rooting for

MMA Promotions Are Interested In CM Punk
Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former Power Rangers star & MMA fighter Jason David Frank wants to fight CM Punk for the World Series of Fighting promotion. WSOF matchmaker & Executive Vice President Ali Abded-Aziz confirmed to Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com that Frank’s manager contacted them about such a fight & they said they would be interested in having Punk fight if he would like to. Bellator MMA promotion has also expressed interest in having Punk fight for them.
