Hulk Hogan Gets Baptized: ‘Greatest Day Of My Life’

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan announced on Instagram Wednesday, that he had been baptized in a special ceremony at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida.

“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life,” the 70-year-old posted to Instagram, along with footage of the baptism. “No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”

“In my opinion, this is the greatest decision you could ever make. Can’t wait to hang out with you in heaven. #amen #merrychristmas #hulkhogan #hulkamania

Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily Hogan, also took part in the baptism, which involved fully submerging themselves in a large body of water.

Video footage shows Hogan and his wife both in white smiling as they are dipped into the water. Hogan also wore his trademark bandanna in white, along with a silver cross necklace for the occasion.

He was baptized in a special ceremony at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida. The professional wrestler has spoken publicly about his Christian beliefs in the past. He says, he was saved when he was 14/yrs old and rededicated his life this past April. The woman with him is his wife, Sky Daily Hogan.

“I accepted Christ as my savior at 14yrs old and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!” Hogan shared on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, in April.

Hulk Hogan Facing Backlash For COVID-19 Vaccine Comment About Celebrities

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is under fire for a now-deleted Facebook comment he made this week.

Comedian Josh Pray posted a Facebook video on the death of actor/comedian Bob Saget this week, and in the comments section one viewer speculated on Saget’s death being related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Wellll many directions we can go with this, but I will take jab for $500 Alex,” the user wrote.

Hogan’s official Facebook page then responded to that user, and indicated that he believes the deaths of Saget, actor Sidney Poitier, and actress Betty White were related to the vaccine.

“100% Betty and Sidney were also jabed their dropping like flies but they’ll never say it,” Hogan wrote.

According to NoDQ.com, Hulk Hogan later edited the Facebook post, although the comment could still be seen by clicking the edited link next to the comment. Hogan later deleted the comment altogether.

While the cause of death for both Bob Saget and Sidney Portier are currently unknown, it should be noted that Betty White suffered a stroke six days prior to her death at the age of 99, and no evidence exists that suggests White’s stroke was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.

Hulk Hogan’s comments serve as another setback for the wrestling legend as he looks to rebuild his reputation following a scandal several years ago where he was caught on tape making several racist remarks. Hogan was ostracized from WWE following his comments but ultimately returned to the promotion in 2018. He has made several appearances for WWE since to mixed responses, and Hogan was notably booed while serving as co-host of WrestleMania 37 with Titus O’Neal last year.

Hulk Hogan sparks backlash for suggesting coronavirus is punishment from God: ‘Maybe we don’t need a vaccine’

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is facing criticism after suggesting that the coronavirus pandemic is a punishment from God and “we don’t need a vaccine”.

On Monday, the WWE star shared his beliefs on Instagram, where he compared the pandemic to the “plagues of Egypt”.

“In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship,” Hogan wrote. “God said: ‘You want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centres. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theatres.’”

According to the 66-year-old Hall of Famer, who has more than 1.5m followers on Instagram, God is also punishing those who “worship money” by shutting down the economy and collapsing the stock market, as well as those who don’t want to go to church.

“‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land,’” Hogan continued in the lengthy caption.

The retired wrestler, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, then suggested that “maybe we don’t need a vaccine” and that this time of “isolation” should instead be used for “personal revival” and to focus on Jesus.

“Maybe we don’t need a vaccine, maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus,” Hogan concluded.

The post has divided Hogan’s fans on social media, where some praised the wrestling star while others expressed their disappointment and concern over the dangerous message.

“You just lost a fan today. I’m in a nursing home and have a high chance of getting this illness. In a county next door to us 26 people have tested positive for this illness and in my state of North Carolina 35 people have died so far. So hurt over this,” one person wrote.

Another said: “We definitely need a vaccine…”

This is not the first time Hogan has referenced religion while appearing to discuss the pandemic on social media. Last week, the former reality star shared a photo of a highlighted bible quote with the caption: “This is one of the most powerful gifts to our human race, it’s as powerful as it gets here on Earth, thank you God. Only love HH.”

Hulk Hogan Appearing On Tonight’s Episode Of “The Goldbergs”, His WrestleMania 4 Experience, Show Producer Talks About The Episode

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will be appearing on ABC’s The Goldbergs tonight at 8pm ET. The Goldbergs executive producer Adam F. Goldberg was a huge fan of WWE growing up. As creator of the comedy series that bears his last name, Goldberg often inserts real-life moments of his youth into his show. In a press release sent to Wrestling Inc., Goldberg named attending WrestleMania IV as one of the greatest moments of his life when he was a kid.

“Growing up, I was the biggest wrestling fan,” recalled Goldberg. “One of the greatest moments of my life was attending WrestleMania IV in Atlantic City for my birthday when I was a kid. I went with my Dad and brother Barry and even though we had the worst seats in the house, we still had the time of our lives.”

In tonight’s episode, entitled Wrestlemania, Murray decides to buy WrestleMania tickets to spend time with Barry and Adam, but he buys fake tickets so they can’t get in.

“That was the day that turned my Dad into a wrestling fan, and his favorite was Hulk Hogan,” recalled Goldberg. “It was bittersweet to have Hulk guest star on the show and not have my Dad there to see it.”

Goldberg and his father bonded over that Wrestlemania experience.

“Because my Dad loved The Hulk, I chose The Ultimate Warrior as my favorite,” said Goldberg. “One of the greatest moments in making The Goldbergs was to discover that The Ultimate Warrior was a huge Goldbergs fan and shared it with his daughters before he passed away. I got to meet his family and talk about my experiences growing up with my own father watching wrestling and it was an amazing healing moment for all of us.”

Hogan is not the first WWE Superstar to appear in The Goldbergs. Bill Goldberg often appears in The Goldbergs as the school’s gym teacher, Nick Mellor.

“WrestleMania” was written by Erik Weiner with a story by Adam F. Goldberg and Erik Weiner, and directed by Lew Schneider. Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, Alex Barnow, Chris Bishop and Annette Davis are executive producers. “The Goldbergs” is produced by Happy Madison, Doug Robinson Productions and Adam F. Goldberg Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Seth Rollins Out Of Team Hogan Vs. Team Flair Match At Crown Jewel

Seth Rollins was slated to pull double duty at WWE’s upcoming Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia … but that’s no longer the case.

WWE announced on Thursday that Rollins will no longer be competing in the “Team Hogan vs. Team Flair” tag match, in which he was set to team with Rusev, Ricochet and two other teammates in a 5-on-5 match against Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura and one more unannounced Superstar.

The Universal Champion will instead defend his title as advertised against “The Fiend” in a Falls Count Anywhere match at the same event, which goes down in Riyadh on October 31.
