Hideo Itami Returning Soon To NXT?

It appears that Hideo Itami is scheduled to finally return to WWE NXT in the next few weeks. He had shoulder surgery 13 months ago but his recovery has gone much slower than expected as his first surgery did not go so well.

WWE’s NXT roster continues to take hits with Hideo Itami being the latest star sidelined with an injury. Itami is reportedly going to miss significant time recovering from a shoulder ailment.

According to PWInsider.com via Chris Walder of WrestlingRumors.com, Itami will be out for 6 to 8 onths with “a bad shoulder injury.”

Itami’s injury coes days after WWE announced that Sami Zayn would undergo an MRI on his left shoulder following a match with John Cena on RAW.

Itami was slated to wrestle Finn Balor and Tyler Breeze at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable event on May 20th for the right to challenge for the NXT championship.

KENTA Makes NXT Debut & Changes Name

KENTA made his NXT debut on Thursday night during NXT Takeover 2 on the WWE Network. KENTA announced that he is changing his name to Hideo Itami. He makes his NXT in-ring debut next week.
