Breezango with the return of the Fashion Files – (Transcript from WrestlingINC) The announcers lead us to the return of The Fashion Files with Breezango. The Ascension, in disguise, makes an appearance at Breezango’s HQ. The case they’ve been working on is still open. The Ascension, in disguise, delivers a poster to Breezango that says the real Ascension wants to be their friends. Tyler Breeze and Fandango insult Konnor and Viktor, who take off their disguises and say Breezango should be ashamed of themselves for the harsh words. They walk off. Someone knocks on the door and Breeze thinks it’s The Ascension again. No one is at the door but there’s a briefcase laying there. They open it and a light is shining inside. “This isn’t just a briefcase, it’s a new case.” Apparently Breezango has a new case to investigate. Ric Flair Claims Big Spots Were Pulled From Women’s HIAC, One “Involved A Moonsault” (AUDIO)

Hell in a Cell is known for it’s death-defying moments … but Ric Flair claims that two big spots were pulled from the first women’s HIAC match this weekend due to WWE officials fearing the outcome.

Flair talked about the match on Busted Open Radio today saying, They took two huge spots out of the match, during the match, because they were afraid Sasha Banks was going to get hurt.”

He continued saying, “If the original plan had been, there were two things and I don’t want to say what they were, but you can only imagine. One of them involved a moonsault.”

Flair recently hinted that Charlotte wanted to do a moonsault off the top of the cell — so it’s hard not to speculate that he’s talking about that.

Did the women’s match meet your expectations for Hell in a Cell? What are your thoughts on women closing a PPV of that nature? Let us know in the comment below.

Charlotte Tweets Sasha Banks After Hell In A Cell

New WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte tweeted Sasha Banks after their epic Hell In A Cell match, saying she respects Sasha and her hustle:

Backstage News On The Finish For The Sasha Banks Vs. Charlotte Match At WWE Hell In A Cell

As seen at WWE Hell In A Cell last night, Sasha Banks lost the WWE RAW Women’s Championship in her hometown of Boston, MA to Charlotte Flair in the main event of the show. It was the first time that a women’s match has headlined a WWE pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the original finish – much like the original finish at SummerSlam in August – was for Sasha to go over, however Vince McMahon had it changed. Although the reason for the change is not known, the decision was made to go with a Charlotte vs. Bayley program sooner than originally planned.

Backstage News On Why Sasha Banks Vs. Charlotte Will Likely Not Headline WWE Hell In A Cell

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer that Vince McMahon has been against the idea of having Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte headline this Sunday’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

Meltzer noted that while many people backstage are in favor of Sasha vs. Charlotte headlining the show, and Triple H is backing the idea, McMahon has been insistent against it. This has led to a lot of frustration backstage.

“What everyone needs to understand is that there’s no one who understands the outside less than the man who makes all the decisions,” a source close to the situation told the Observer. “We just have to find a respectful way to change his mind.”

The arguments in favor of having the match go last is that the event is in Sasha’s hometown, and it would be a progressive move. It was noted that while Vince could always change his mind, as of this past Tuesday, it was unlikely that the match would headline the show.

Meltzer made a valid point in the Observer that the first women’s match headlining a WWE pay-per-view is something that should be promoted well in advance, due to the historic nature of it, and not something decided at the last minute. Still, it marks a major change in the wrestling landscape regarding women headlining a pay-per-view event. When Raj Giri of WrestlingINC spoke to the Bella Twins last year, Nikki thought that it would be ten years before women main-evented a WWE pay-per-view.

“I think it’s definitely years and years away, but I think we’re on the right track towards it,” Nikki told Wrestling Inc. in 2015. “I think it’s going to take a while, but I definitely see us heading in that direction. I mean, I think it might be ten years from now, but I think Total Divas has given some of us Divas that mainstream audience that brings us to the level to where John Cena’s at, or where Dwayne Johnson’s at.”

“If you allow Divas to tell a story they can sell a pay-per-view,” Brie added. “Stephanie McMahon and myself were in a storyline and a lot of people would say that our story is the one that sold SummerSlam. I really think that this ‘Give Divas a Chance’ is putting everyone on the right page, and I hope that we can. We can really sell a pay-per-view, we have so many great Divas in NXT. The division is more than in good hands.”

More From Mick Foley On WWE Hell In A Cell Main Event

As noted, RAW General Manager Mick Foley edited his Facebook announcement on Charlotte vs. RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks being the main event of the October 30th Hell In a Cell pay-per-view, now saying the match will be “a main event” and that he doesn’t know what the official main event will be yet. Foley elaborated in the comments section of the Facebook post, seen here:

“The match order for #HIAC Will probably not be finalized until hours before the actual show, so each member of the WWE Universe can decide for themselves what their main event is. Regardless of where the women’s match is placed on the card, both Sasha and Charlotte should absolutely feel like they are the main event – as should Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. It’s a competitive business, and that competitive spirit should bring out the best in everyone on October 30th.”

Mick Foley Reveals Which Cell Match Will Main Event WWE Hell In A Cell

WWE RAW General Manager Mick Foley took to Facebook and announced that Charlotte vs. RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will main event the October 30th Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.

Foley posted the following on Facebook:

CHILLS
Forget for a moment about Stephanie McMahon’s jumping high-five or my awkward attempt to hug the #RAW Comissioner. The biggest moment of the night for us came when the #WWE cameras were off, and Stephanie and I just looked at the #HIAC poster, realizing that for #WomensWrestling, history is upon us – as Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event the #HIAC PPV. I am so happy for Sasha, for Charlotte, for all the women who paved the way, and all those who aspire to follow in their footsteps. It is no exaggeration to say that looking at that poster gave me chills…and they were multiplying.
