Former Gallus Trio Signs with MLW Following Battle Riot Appearance

A familiar trio is carving out a new path in the wrestling world. The group formerly known as Gallus has officially landed in Major League Wrestling, confirming their signing after making a statement appearance at Battle Riot VIII.

Joe Coffey, speaking with The Takedown on SI, opened up about the decision and why MLW felt like the right destination for the group—now going by GBOT (Glasgow Boys On Top). According to Coffey, the promotion offered the kind of environment they were looking for at this stage in their careers.

He pointed to their experience at Battle Riot as a key factor, noting that it gave them an immediate sense of what MLW brings to the table. With a roster full of talent, Coffey made it clear that he, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang are eager to test themselves against fresh competition and show fans exactly what they bring to the ring.

Their arrival adds another layer of depth to MLW’s already stacked lineup, and it sounds like the trio is motivated to make a strong first impression with a new audience.

Interestingly, this move comes after earlier reports suggested there was internal interest within AEW to bring the group in following their WWE release in May 2025. At the time, Coffey indicated they were keeping their options open, but MLW ultimately emerged as the landing spot.

Now officially part of the promotion, GBOT looks ready to reestablish themselves and make noise in a new landscape.
