WWE announced the release of 3 Superstars.
Here’s WWE’s statement:
“WWE has come to terms on the releases of WWE Superstars Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae.
WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.”
There is now word as of yet on why they was released.
Darren Young made his return from injury at last night’s Raw brand house show in Wichita, Kansas.
According to PWInsider.com, Young competed in a Battle Royal to decide the No. 1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship held by The Miz. Young eliminated his former tag team partner, Titus O’Neil, before being eliminated by Apollo Crews.
Jason Jordan won the Battle Royal but unsuccessfully challenged The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship later in the night. Jordan lost to The Miz after getting hit with an exposed turnbuckle.
Young had been out of action since January. During a match against Epico at a WWE Main Eventtaping in Little Rock, Arkansas, Young injured his right elbow while a taking a hard bump off the apron.

Darren Young is expected to be cleared to return to the ring next month, according to PWInsider. The RAW Superstar underwent elbow surgery back in January after suffering an in-ring injury during a WWE Main Event match with Epico on January 16th. Young posted this video today as he continues working towards his return:

Darren Young will be undergoing elbow surgery today in Birmingham, AL. Young has been out of action since suffering an elbow injury during a match with Epico taped for WWE Main Event last month.

Darren Young suffered an apparent arm injury during Monday’s match against Epico at the WWE Main Event tapings in Little Rock.
WWE has not announced the injury but Young took to Twitter today and wrote, “Hyperextension which resulted in a traumatic dislocation & fracture of the coronoid process of the right elbow.”
No word yet on how long Young might be out of action. The match will air on this week’s episode of Main Event on the WWE Network.

Darren Young thanked Andrews Sports Medicine and Miami Sports Medicine for helping him get back in ring shape. Young visited the doctors on Friday and noted that he’s back to 100%.
Intercontinental Championship # 1 contender Tournament is being held because Christian, who was suppose to get the title shot against Big E for the IC Title hasn’t been cleared to wrestle after WWE got a bad report on his condition & went with the idea to of crowning a new #1 contender. Christian suffered a concussion over 3 weeks ago on RAW.
PWInsider has confirmed reports that AJ Lee has asked for time off. There is no word on how long she would be gone.
Darren Young tore his ACL at a WWE Live Event show Saturday & has already has surgery.
WWE Superstar Darren Young admits to TMZ that he’s gay. He was asked if a gay male could succeed in the WWE. Young said, “Absolutely. Look at me. I’m a WWE Superstar & to be honest with you, I’ll tell you right now, I’m gay & I’m happy, I’m very Happy.”
