Kevin Owens And Chris Jericho Festival Of Friendship Ends In Betrayal (VIDEO)

festival friendship kevin owens wwe chris jericho video

The Festival of Friendship ended in a breakup for the ages this week on Monday Night Raw … after Universal Champion Kevin Owens turned on his BFF Chris Jericho.

It all went down during Jericho’s F.o.F. when Chris presented his buddy with lavish — yet, odd — gifts and explained that Owens has made this past year one of his favorites.

Kevin clearly wasn’t feeling it though and offered a gift to Jericho as well … The List of KO … and Y2J was the only name on it. The present also came with a beatdown.

This lead to Chris being loaded into an “ambulance” afterward.

Watch the videos below and try not to cry watching the end of JeriKO.

News On Chris Jericho Touring With Fozzy Again

Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy will be touring the summer festival circuit following Wrestlemania 33, starting with Welcome to Rockville in late April of 2017. They have also been announced for Rocklahoma and Carolina Rebellion in May of 2017.

Fozzy signed a new record deal with Century Media this past October and will be recording a new album. Jericho’s next book, No Is a Four-letter Word: How I Failed Spelling but Succeeded in Life, is scheduled to release in August of 2017.

Jericho’s latest WWE run started at the 2016 Royal Rumble this past January, and he admitted to The LAW in a recent interview that it was orignally only supposed to last four months.

“I have a very close working relationship with Vince McMahon and neither one of us expected this,” Jericho said. “Both of us would like to sit back and think we were the be all, end all wise oracles that predicted this. I will tell you this, my original plan when I came back last January was to stay until WrestleMania, four months. Then, it started going so good, I re-signed I think until July and then I re-signed until October and then I re-signed until November.

“Now it’s basically a month by month thing. I’ve got a certain time frame in mind but I can’t even say that because what was supposed to be four has already been ten because I am smart enough to know this. I’ve been doing this for a long time and to have – like you said, this could be my best run, I still think my 2008 Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, Big Show might have been better but if it was, it’s not by far. This could be the best run I’ve ever had and at 45 years old, ten years ago, you would think that was old. Now, the Stones are still killing it at 74 years old so as long as physically I can go and still basically look the part, I don’t really put any limits on age or anything like that. I can still go out there and have the best match of the show on any given night and I’m working with guys that are 10-15 years younger that don’t feel that.”

Jericho reportedly confronted Sin Cara about making annoying noises on the bus, which led to an exchange of words. Sin Cara then reportedly threw a punch at Jericho, and after a brief skirmish that included Jericho biting the masked wrestler’s finger, the two were pulled apart.

Sin Cara was apparently thrown off the bus afterward.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in support of former WWE Superstar Rico Constantino … and the fund has grown considerably today thanks to a sizable contribution from Chris Jericho.

Jericho — using his real name — donated $3,000 to the fund, which was established to help Constantino pay for medical expenses, as he’s recently been dealing with serious health problems.

According to the GoFundMe’s description, Rico has visited the doctor five times and was forced to stay twice. It also says he has two leaky heart valves, two blood clots, and traumatic brain issues — which they claim is due to his time in the ring.

Constantino is hoping to raise $10,000 in total. At present he has raised $5,696.

Details On Backstage Altercation Between Brock Lesnar & Chris Jericho At SummerSlam

Source: Pro Wrestling Sheet

The backstage altercation between Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho did indeed go down last after SummerSlam … and The Beast made a few statements during the encounter that would’ve caused any average man to piss himself.

Sources tell Pro Wrestling Sheet that Jericho was acting as a locker room leader who truly believed Brock had attacked Randy Orton during the main event, and Y2J was looking for answers.

We’re told Chris was repeatedly asking for clarification from everyone in the Gorilla position, but wasn’t getting answers because backstage footage was still being shot by crew members.

Brock, however, heard Jericho say this was “bullsh*t” and loudly told the longtime wrestler that this was none of his business. That set Y2J off and he continued asking questions, causing Lesnar to push him. When that happened, Jericho rushed in and tried getting face-to-face with The Beast.

We’re told Brock kissed him on the forehead at that point … then said, “kiss me back, p*ssy.”

Our sources say Jericho didn’t back down though! He actually stepped up and got in Lesnar’s face, ready to fight. But Brock responded, with his arms behind his back, saying “hit me or kiss me, bitch” … causing everyone in the area to swarm in and break them apart, including Triple H.

Things didn’t calm down though, and Vince McMahon eventually rushed in to usher Brock away, while yelling at Chris to be more professional. Jericho fired back at his boss, saying Lesnar was the unprofessional one who started “shooting” on his co-worker … to which Vince replied, “It’s a work! What’s wrong with you?!” implying the blood job was planned in some way.

Shortly after, the two sides went their separate ways backstage.

One source tells us they believe Jericho had all the right intentions, but many believe he handled things completely wrong due to his role as one of the longest tenured members of the roster.
