AEW Rampage “Fight For The Fallen” Preview 7/29/22

A big weekend for Jay Lethal kicks off with a marquee match on tonight’s episode of “AEW Rampage” “Fight for the Fallen.

Lethal will team with the 7′ 2″ giant Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt for a six-man tag team match against Orange Cassidy and Best Friends.

An even higher profile match for Lethal is just days away. He will be part of the main event of Ric Flair’s Last Match event coming up on Sunday. Lethal will team with Jeff Jarrett to take on Flair and Andrade El Idolo.

AEW Rampage “Fyter Fest” Week 2 Preview 7/22/22

AEW taped the 7/22 episode of “AEW Rampage: Fyter Fest Week 2” from the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.

The following lineup has been announced for Friday’s show:

We may learn about new matches for Death Before Dishonor during tonight’s “Rampage”. ROH owner Tony Khan stated during his media call on Thursday that not all of the matches for the card have been announced yet.

AEW Rampage Fyter Fest Week 1 Preview 7/15/22

The Ring of Honor World Championship will be on the line on tonight’s episode of “AEW Rampage” Fyter Fest Week 1.

Champion Jonathan Gresham will defend his title against Lee Moriarty. Gresham and Moriarty were partners in a tag team match against Tully Blanchard’s Gates of Agony (Toa Liona and Kaun) on last Friday’s “Rampage”. However, Gresham abandoned Moriarty during the match, revealing he had joined the Tully Blanchard Enterprises faction.

Ring of Honor’s next pay-per-view Death Before Dish0nor is just over one week away. As of Friday morning, a title challenger for Gresham on that show has yet to be announced. Gresham has held the title for more than 200 days and has defended it in a number of promotions, including Impact Wrestling. Gresham also had a successful title defense against Dalton Castle on AEW’s Battle of the Belts II special back in April.

AEW will debut a new match concept on tonight’s episode of “Rampage”. The Royal Rampage match will kick off tonight’s show. It will be contested inside the same double-ring used for the Blood & Guts match on this past Wednesday’s “Dynamite”.

Andrade El Idolo will not be part of the Forbidden Door event. He says he was supposed to be the opponent for Will Ospreay. However, New Japan Pro-Wrestling nixed the idea due to its relationship with Mexico’s CMLL promotion. Andrade has been working for CMLL’s rival, AAA.

AEW Rampage Preview 6/10/22

One of the most celebrated in-ring performers of his generation and an eye-popping pro wrestling prospect will make their AEW in-ring debuts on tonight’s episode of “Rampage”.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Will Ospreay will be in a trios match alongside Aussie Open against the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions FTR and Trent Beretta. Ospreay, Aussie Open, and their United Empire stablemate Aaron Henare attacked Beretta and FTR on Wednesday’s “Dynamite”.

Ospreay is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion in NJPW and is almost universally recognized as one of the best professional wrestlers in the world today. Ospreay is also the leader of NJPW’s United Empire stable, which added Aussie Open late last year. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis are rising stars in the world of tag team wrestling. They joined NJPW in April after building their reputations in Australia and Europe.
