Adam Cole Kicked Out Of The Bullet Club, Replaced By Marty Scurll (Video)

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks kicked Adam Cole out of the Bullet Club Friday night at War of the Worlds … and his vacant spot was quickly filled by another villain, Marty Scurll.

Following his loss on Friday night to Hiroshi Tanahashi, Adam was joined in the ring by The Young Bucks for a group hug. However, the lights went out and Omega appeared on-screen.

Kenny said Cole’s year-long run with the group may have been historic, but like all fairy tales it needed a hero and a villain. The lights then came on and Scurll was in the ring holding a Bullet Club umbrella. The Bucks proceeded to superkick Adam and leave him KO’ed.

Scurll hit Cole with the umbrella afterward and then held him up for the Bucks to kiss his cheeks.

In case you forgot, the group gave a similar treatment to its former leader A.J. Styles just before he left for WWE. Could this mean Cole is on his way out as well?

Adam Cole On When His ROH Contract Expires And If He Has Decided To Go To WWE

Adam Cole’s contract with Ring of Honor expires at the end of April and there have been rumors that he may sign with WWE when it’s up. Cole joined Busted Open with Dave LaGreca and Doug Mortman today and commented on his current contract situation with Ring of Honor and what the future might hold for him once his deal is up.

“I’ve discussed this before and I totally don’t mind talking about because it’s a very talked about thing,” Cole said. “I have about a month left on my Ring of Honor contract where at that point, I kind of have to make a decision. And the truth of the matter is, I haven’t made my decision of what I would like to do yet. Because, obviously, there are a lot of options I have to consider. There are a lot of situations I have to consider. So for me to make my best possible decision, I need to know all the avenues that I can take.

“So as of right now, again this kind of sounds like a cliché answer, I have big match after big match every single weekend. So I have to focus on this next month that I have: challenging for the Ring of Honor Television Championship this weekend, I’d like to get back over to New Japan. Right now, all of my focus is on making as much of an impact in Ring of Honor as I can. When it comes to May, that’s something that’s kind of up in the air at this point.”

Adam Cole On What It Means To Join The Bullet Club, Adam Page Joining The Group, NJPW, More

Source: WrestlingINC

ROH Wrestler Adam Cole called into Busted Open with Doug Mortman and Larry Dallas to discuss his recent joining of The Bullet Club and what lies ahead. You can download and listen to the full interview by clicking here, they sent us these highlights:

What it means to join the Bullet Club:

“I think it pretty much goes without saying that the Bullet Club has been the most influential wrestling faction in years. You see the influence, obviously, in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now, more than ever, in Ring of Honor. Even as far as to say the WWE, with The Club and all the former members being in the WWE. It’s crazy. A lot of people are talking about the Bullet Club and I’m really happy to be a part of that group.”

Whether he will be a Heavyweight or Junior Heavyweight in NJPW:

“Actually, I think as of now, as far as I know, I’m going to be a heavyweight because the perception is the character that I’ve created here in Ring of Honor, being a main-eventer there – I think New Japan envisions the same thing for me. So I think that will be the case for me. Only time will tell. I think I’m scheduled to go over to New Japan in late summer this year. I’m really, really stoked about it. Being a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling has been a big goal of mine ever since the formation of Ring of Honor and New Japan being together. I got the chance to go over one time before. Then, injury really kind of derailed that for me. Now being a part of, once again, the hottest faction in pro wrestling, some really cool stuff should happen for me over in New Japan and I’m really excited about it.”

Sharing the leadership role with Kenny Omega:

“I’m a huge, huge Kenny Omega fan. Me and him really enjoy each other. I like being around Kenny. I’ve wrestled Kenny before. Kenny has worked so hard to create the status that he has in Japan so if it comes across as me leading the charge in the US and him leading the charge in Japan, that’s totally fine. The Bullet Club has actually been built on exactly that – being a foundation that gets along, sees things on the same page. So as far as focusing on who the leader is, man, I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

Adam Page becoming the newest member of the Bullet Club:

“I think Adam Page is a young guy with a lot of talent who’s been waiting for someone to kind of throw him the ball and this is the ball. He’s being given a huge opportunity in joining the Bullet Club and I think he’s completely capable of filling this role. He’s so talented, he’s still so young, and, for a lot of guys who are young with a lot of talent, the thing that takes them over the edge is being given that real opportunity in that high-pressure situation. And this is a high-pressure situation for him. So as far as wondering if he will sink or swim, which I’m sure a lot of people have thought, I have full confidence that he will succeed and that he’ll do really well and I think he’s a great addition to the Club.”
