    • The Beast Mortos is the new name for the man originally known as Black Taurus in AAA and TNA.
    • Komander & Alex Abrahantes appeared on the ramp after the match, where Komander saluted Mortos.
  • Caprice Coleman had a sit-down interview with Kyle Fletcher ahead of his match against Lee Johnson for the ROH World Television Championship. Fletcher bragged that he was undefeated in ROH and promised to retain the title tonight.
  • Zero Hour: Cole Karter & Griff Garrison (w/ Maria Kanellis-Bennett) def.Spanish Announce Project (Angelico & Serpentico) (Schoolboy Roll-Up).
    • The finish came when Garrison pulled Serpentico’s mask, allowing Karter to get a roll-up for the win.
  • Zero Hour: Mariah May def. Momo Kohgo via Pinfall (It’s Gonna Be May Knee Strike).
  • Ian Riccaboni & Caprice Coleman welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening contest.

  • ROH World Tag Team Championship Match: The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) (c) def. The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) (w/ Trish Adora) via Pinfall (Arm Across Pin).
    • Wardlow hit a Powerbomb on Shawn Dean while the referee was down. Bennett rolled over to get the pin on the knocked-out Dean for the win.
  • ROH Women’s World Television Championship Tournament – Finals: Billie Starkz def. Queen Aminata via Submission (Sleeper Hold), becomes the first ever ROH Women’s World Television Champion.
  • Billie Starkz turned heel.
  • In the closing moments, Starkz performed a senton from the top rope, but landed awkwardly and immediately informed the referee that something was wrong with her neck. The match was temporarily stopped to check on Starkz, while Aminata stood in the corner looking very concerned. Doctors and ringside physicians got in the ring to help Starkz to her feet, as it seemed like the match was being called off and Aminata would win by default, with Aminata even holding the ring ropes open so Starkz could exit without hurting herself even more.
  • However, Starkz broke free of the doctors and attacked Aminata from behind, delivering a German Suplex, while still wearing a neck brace that was deemed meaningless at that point. Starkz locked in a sleeper hold and choked Aminata out to become the first-ever ROH Women’s World Television Champion, showing no remorse for the underhanded tactics that led to her victory. The 19-year old has been sitting under the learning tree of Athena over the past few months, and it seems like Starkz has found that mean streak her mentor has been looking for.
  • Action Andretti & Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) were interviewed backstage ahead of The Martin Brothers facing FTR on the 4/6 edition of AEW Collision, where they promised why they would become one of the best teams to do it.
  • Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Colten Gunn & Austin Gunn) came to the ring to host an open challenge for the ROH Six-Man Titles. Alex Zayne, Lance Archer & Minoru Suzuki answered the challenge.
  • ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Match: Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Colten Gunn & Austin Gunn) (c) def. Minoru Suzuki & MonsterSauce (Lance Archer & Alex Zayne) via Pinfall (Blade Runner).
    • After the match, Jay White called themselves the best Three-Man Team in wrestling, but they were interrupted by The Acclaimed (Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens). The two teams brawled before White hit the Blade Runner on Bowens. Bullet Club Gold ran out of the ring.
  • Fight Without Honor: Dalton Castle def. Johnny TV (w/ Taya Valkyrie) via Pinfall (Bat-A-Rang).
    • Paul Walter Hauser appeared disguised as one of The Boys to help Dalton Castle. Castle managed to hit the Bat-A-Rang on Johnny TV for the win.

El Hijo Del Vikingo Forced To Vacate AAA Mega Championship

AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo has had to relinquish his AAA Mega Championship due to him being sidelined after suffering an injury.

The Mexican promotion announced on social media that Vikingo has vacated his title, and that a new champion will be determined at next month’s Triplemania XXXII show in Monterrey on April 27. Qualifiers for the match at Triplemania XXXII have begun, with Alberto El Patron winning the first qualifier match, defeating Psycho Clown and Cibernetico.

Vikingo’s reign as AAA Mega Champion lasted 833 days, which is the longest reign in the title’s history. The 26-year-old had to vacate the championship after a knee injury that he suffered recently forced him to undergo surgery. The Mexican star revealed later that he has ruptured ligaments and a torn meniscus, with reports suggesting that he could be out for anywhere between five and nine months. His injury occurred during a match on AULL in February, with the match being stopped due to its seriousness.

His reign as AAA Mega Champion began at AAA Triplemania Regia II in December 2021, when he defeated Jay Lethal, Bandido, Samuray del Sol, and Bobby Fish in a five-way match. Vikingo, who has wrestled in AEW and ROH since his debut AEW match against Kenny Omega in March 2023, last defended the Mega Championship in January on ROH against Action Andretti.

AEW Collision Taping Uses New Announce Team, Kevin Kelly Reportedly Has Been Released

AEW commentator Kevin Kelly has been removed from the promotion’s roster page, while he was also not present at the recent “AEW Collision” tapings.

At the tapings for this Saturday’s “Collision” show, Kelly was missing from the broadcast team, with Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone manning the two-man booth. Kelly has been part of the Collision commentary team ever since he joined AEW last year. The former WWE backstage interviewer and MLW commentator was a part of NJPW’s English broadcast team prior to joining AEW.

There’s no news as to the reason why Kelly was removed from the roster page or the “Collision” show, but the speculation is that it could be because of Kelly’s recent comments directed at fellow AEW commentator Ian Riccaboni. Kelly claimed on X that Riccaboni “libeled” him and revealed that he has been “pushed aside.” Kelly last commentated on the March 2 episode of “Collision” alongside Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone.

According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, Kelly has been released by AEW. The report states that his social media posts, in which he accused Riccaboni of sabotaging his career and engaging in libel, ultimately led to his departure from the promotion.

Kelly was the first commentator of the “Collision” show with McGuinness, while the likes of Riccaboni, Jim Ross, and Caprice Coleman have also called “Collision” action occasionally when Kelly was calling NJPW last year.

Kelly had an eight-year stint with NJPW, during which time he was also part of the ROH commentary team, which is incidentally part of AEW now.
