AEW is taking another major step toward expanding its global reach with the launch of its brand-new streaming platform, MyAEW. After the announcement on March 9, more information has surfaced regarding how the service will work, including which regions can access specific features and how much fans can expect to pay.
According to reports, MyAEW will serve as a hub for several pieces of AEW content. The platform is expected to stream weekly shows such as AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, along with select pay-per-views in certain international markets. In addition, the service will feature a Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channel that runs classic AEW programming 24/7.
Despite the new platform, AEW’s existing partnerships will remain in place. Sources indicate that the launch of MyAEW will not affect the company’s current streaming agreement with HBO Max. Fans who already watch AEW through TrillerTV’s AEW Plus will also still be able to use that service.
However, access to MyAEW content will vary depending on the viewer’s location. Reports indicate that the FAST channel will be available in most regions worldwide, but it will not be accessible in Canada or Mexico. Meanwhile, AEW pay-per-views through the platform will be offered in many international markets, though they will be unavailable in the United States, Mexico, and India.
Weekly shows will also have some regional restrictions. Dynamite and Collision streams on MyAEW will not be available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or India.
AEW is launching the platform with three different subscription tiers. The first option is priced at $7.99 per month and provides access to the FAST channel, AEW podcasts, live streams of weekly shows (in eligible regions), the AEW television archive, Ring of Honor HonorClub TV, and one Ring of Honor pay-per-view.
The second plan costs $19.99 per month and includes everything from the basic tier while also adding one AEW pay-per-view each month.
Finally, the top-tier package is available for $119.99 per year. This plan gives subscribers full access to the service, including all AEW pay-per-views throughout the year.
The launch of MyAEW appears to be a clear move by the company to strengthen its international presence and offer more direct access to its content outside the United States. If successful, the platform could become a major destination for AEW fans around the world.
