WWE Introduces Mystery Character For Bray Wyatt’s Return?

It looks like WWE may have some really drastic character changes planned for Bray Wyatt.

As seen above, WWE began airing new vignettes on this week’s post-WrestleMania 35 RAW for a new character. It looks like they used some sort of laughing buzzard character in the promo.

WWE’s description on the YouTube video says, “What is this unusual creature, and why is it laughing?”

Speculation is that this new promo is for the return of Wyatt, but that has not been confirmed.

It was reported over WrestleMania 35 weekend that WWE was scheduled to start airing vignettes soon for Wyatt’s upcoming return. It was also noted that there will be big changes to Wyatt’s character when he does return, changes that have been in the works for a while.

Dean Ambrose Finishes Up With WWE On RAW, The Shield Say Goodbye To Dean After RAW

Last night’s post-WrestleMania 35 edition of WWE RAW saw Dean Ambrose brawl with Bobby Lashley. This was supposed to be a singles match, which WWE billed as Ambrose’s last match with the company.

It’s been reported that Ambrose is leaving WWE later this month when his contract expires due to how he’s unhappy with the way he’s been used. Ambrose reportedly informed WWE officials that he would not be renewing his deal months ago.

Ambrose is still advertised for live events and RAW TV events this month, but there’s no word yet on if they will keep him off TV until his contract has expired. As noted, Ambrose was left off the WrestleMania 35 card on Sunday.

Below are photos and videos from tonight’s angle with Ambrose and Lashley, which ended with Ambrose getting put through the announce table. Renee Young played up the seriousness of the situation as fans did a “thank you Ambrose!” chant to give it the farewell feel.

The Undertaker Makes Surprise Appearance On The “Raw After Mania”, Silences Elias

The Undertaker made his return to WWE TV on tonight’s post-WrestleMania 35 edition of WWE RAW from Brooklyn.

Taker made his return during a performance by Elias, who was still upset over John Cena interrupting his WrestleMania 35 performance with the “Dr. of Thuganomics” rap. Elias made a comment on the next person to interrupt him, whether it was a Legend of a Hall of Famer, they would be a “dead man” because he was tired of the interruptions. That’s when Taker returned and did his grand entrance. He faced off with Elias, blocked off an attack and then left Elias laying after a chokeslam and a Tombstone piledriver.

This was The Dead Man’s first WWE TV appearance since Crown Jewel back in November, where he teamed with Kane for a loss to WWE Hall of Famers Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Taker did not work WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, but he is expected to wrestle during WWE’s return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in early May.

Lacey Evans Starts Feud With Becky Lynch On RAW

It looks like new SmackDown Women’s and RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch could be feuding with Lacey Evans next.

After Lynch came to the ring to cut a promo on her WrestleMania 35 main event win over Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair during tonight’s post-WrestleMania RAW episode, Evans interrupted and walked the ramp like she’s been doing for several weeks on WWE TV. They met at the bottom of the ramp and stared each other down until Evans rocked Lynch in the mouth. Evans then turned to walk back up the ramp but Becky attacked her from behind. The two brawled up the ramp and to the stage. The segment ended with Evans standing tall and taunting Lynch while officials held The Man back.

Sami Zayn Returns On RAW, Unleashed Tirade On The WWE Universe

Last night’s post-WrestleMania 35 edition of WWE RAW, Sami Zayn make his return to the ring. He lost to new WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor.

After losing, Sami cut a heel promo on the crowd. “I can honestly say, from the bottom of my heart, I did not miss this… and I did NOT miss any of YOU,” he said.

“It tuns out WWE is a super toxic environment. It’s not because of the McMahons. And it ain’t because of the other WWE Superstars,” he continued. “It’s because of this audience, and your ugliness!”

This was Sami’s first match since June 2018 as he was forced to take time off to undergo double shoulder surgery to repair both of his torn rotator cuffs. Sami’s last match came against then-Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley at Money In the Bank 2018, and his return match was against the current Intercontinental Champion.

Lars Sullivan Debuts On RAW, Attacks Kurt Angle

Lars Sullivan made his main roster debut on last night’s post-WrestleMania 35 edition of RAW from Brooklyn.

Lars attacked WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle after Angle got payback on the man who defeated him in his Farewell Match at WrestleMania 35, Baron Corbin. Sullivan came to the ring and stared Angle down, then drove him into the mat. Lars then went to the top rope and delivered a flying headbutt to Angle’s heart. He then exited the ring while laughing to himself.

WWE began airing vignettes hyping the debut of Lars back in November. Sullivan’s debut was postponed, however, following a mental-health related incident in January.

Bret Hart Attacker In Court – Felt It Was “The Right Moment” For The Assault

Zachary Madsen, 26, of Lincoln, Nebraska was in court on Sunday after tackling Bret “The Hitman” Hart during The Hart Foundation’s induction at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night. In a wild scene, Madsen was quickly subdued by a group of wrestlers, with several getting physical with the attacker.

During the court appearance, Madsen reportedly told police that “it was the right moment” to attack Hart.

“I just felt like it was the right moment,” Zachary Madsen told police, according to prosecutors in court, via The New York Post.

Bail was set at $1,500 for Madsen at the hearing. The judge also issued orders of protection barring Madsen from approaching Hart and WWE security guard, Thaddeus Jones.

Madsen, who is an amateur MMA fighter with record of 2 wins and 1 loss, was allegedly stalking another MMA fighter, Haris Talundzic, last September. As we previously reported, Madsen was arrested back on December 28, 2018 for violation of a protection order. He was arrested again a week later for stalking on January 5 of this year.

Ronda Rousey Reportedly Injured At WrestleMania 35, Was Main Event Finish Botched?, Rousey’s Future

Ronda Rousey reportedly suffered a broken hand in the WrestleMania 35 “Winner Takes All” main event with Charlotte Flair and new SmackDown Women’s Champion and RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

There’s no word yet on details of the injury but Meltzer noted that this was scheduled to be Rousey’s last match with WWE for the time being as she’s been expected to take time off.

There are a lot of rumors going around on the finish of the match but Meltzer noted that at one point Rousey was going to lose to Lynch by submission. A lot of people was for the submission but a lot of people were also for Rousey losing by pinfall. In the end, it was decided that a pinfall would be he best direction, not the submission.

The idea behind the pinfall was that Rousey has never submitted in a WWE match. She also never submitted in MMA or judo. There’s no word yet on why the finish was switched to a pin, but lots of people internally fought against Rousey losing by submission. It was said to be a split, but people were fighting against the loss by submission. It was speculated that the idea of a wrestler submitting Rousey is a negative compared to a wrestler pinning her. It was also speculated that Vince McMahon could be protecting Rousey for a potential return because then she would have an issue with a fluke pin.

Regarding the rumors on Rousey being upset at the referee botching the finish, Meltzer noted that those are not true. Meltzer added that Rousey was not supposed to get her shoulders up, but for whatever reason they came up at the finish. It was also noted that it was strange that WWE called attention to the shoulder coming up, which could have been a Vince call or something Corey Graves did on his own. The replay showing this could be an indication that it was a call from the production truck. Meltzer also said the only screw-up was that Rousey was supposed to be “really pinned” as opposed to getting defeated with the fluke pin. He added that the finish could cause fans to think Rousey is staying for a rematch, but that’s not the current plan as of this week.

Lynch has been announced for tonight’s post-WrestleMania RAW and the Barclays Center has Rousey advertised, along with the WWE Events page, but there’s no word yet on if Flair will be appearing on the show.
