New trademark applications were filed on April 28th for “Brother Nero”, “Broken Brilliance” and “Broken Matt” by Impact Wrestling. It should be noted that Matt Hardy had applied for a trademark for “Broken Matt Hardy” on March 1st. A source for Impact Wrestling told PWInsider that while the trademarks are listed as being filed in April, they were actually filed back in January. It was also noted that while the Hardys and Impact are going back and forth with legal letters, there has been no lawsuit filed yet and no agreement or settlement regarding the gimmick has been made.

A WWE cameraman has filed a $1.2 million lawsuit against Titus O’Neil after the Superstar allegedly attacked him when a Swerved prank went awry.
According to a TMZ Sports report, O’Neil allegedly hurt the man’s hand, fingers and wrist after knocking the camera out of his hand when he was struck with a cattle prod during the segment. The lawsuit says the cameraman was also sent home “in fear of the possibility of further attacks by Titus.”
Court documents say the incident took place May 18, 2015. No criminal charges were filed in the case, nor is it clear if police were ever involved.
Swerved is a hidden camera show that features pranks played on WWE Superstars and staff, similar to Punk’d. A segment that aired last year showed WWE Superstar Paige going around the locker room and shocking employees with a cattle prod.
The O’Neil incident was not shown as part of the episode.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Braun Strowman is scheduled to be out of action following last night’s Raw taping to undergo a minor procedure to fix some issues with his elbow.
The Report says Strowman Will be gone four to eight weeks due to the undisclosed injury/surgery, causing creative to re-tool plans for Extreme Rules and Great Balls of Fire pay-per-views.
Strowman’s character on TV is supposedly suffering from a torn rotator cuff — even though he’s been wrestling Roman Reigns in street fights on the UK/European tour — and his injury angle was furthered at the TV taping tonight to officially give him time to get fixed up.
Strowman came out in a sling to wrestle Kalisto, but Reigns quickly interrupted. The segment ended with Roman hitting Braun’s arm with a steel chair on the steps.
Update from F4WOnline via WrestlingINC
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that while Braun’s operation is not considered to be major, the problem is they don’t know how long he will be out of action until he has the surgery.
Braun and Roman Reigns have been working the current European tour but last night’s RAW angle was done to write Braun off TV for a few weeks. Braun’s absence will force creative changes to the June 4th Extreme Rules pay-per-view and the July 2nd Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view. Meltzer noted that Reigns vs. Strowman was the planned Extreme Rules main event while Braun vs. WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was scheduled for Great Balls of Fire.
No word yet on what the new main events will be but plans for Lesnar appear to be up in the air.

Speculation has run rampant for weeks, but Ember Moon has now confirmed that her shoulder is hurt — and WWE reports that she’ll no longer be wrestling at NXT Takeover: Chicago.
“There’s no Takeover: Chicago for me. I’m out,” Moon said in a video posted by WWE Monday afternoon. WWE also reports that she sustained a grade one shoulder sprain.
Rumors of Moon’s injury began after the last set of NXT tapings when images of Moon in a sling emerged after she landed hard on the floor during an ambush from Asuka. However, this has been the first confirmation that she will be off of the show and out four to five weeks.
No official word as to whether she’ll be replaced in the upcoming match or if it’s now a triple threat. As for Moon, she remains hopeful. “When I get back, I’m going to be better than ever.”

WrestlingINC reports that Stephanie McMahon is currently in London and has been making media appearances for the company. She’s been off TV since WrestleMania 33, mainly due to a family vacation that was scheduled, but she could make her return tonight.

Chris Jericho recently spoke with fellow professional wrestling legend Batista, also known as Dave Bautista, on Talk Is Jericho. Among many other things, Batista talked about whether he misses pro wrestling and what angle he would return to WWE to work.
According to Batista, he misses pro wrestling “a lot”, but he does not miss dealing with WWE.
“There’s nothing like it. [Jericho] know[s] how it is. There’s just an adrenaline rush that goes along with it. What I don’t miss is the company, to be honest with you. I don’t miss WWE. I miss wrestling. I just don’t miss dealing with the company and its bulls–t. Yeah, the bulls–t, man. It’s just too much bulls–t.”
Batista admitted that he asked McMahon and Triple H on multiple occasions about returning to WWE and it has gone nowhere.
“I’ve asked [to come back]. I’ve asked. I’ve asked for what I want. I’ll tell [Jericho] and I’ve talked to Hunter about it and I’ve talked to Vince about it. I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That’s the only thing I’m interested in and they’re just not interested in it.”
Batista added, “I guess [WWE is] not [interested]. And I’ve run it by them a few different times. They just say, ‘meh, we’ll think about it.’ Vince, every time I ask him, ‘meh, I’ll think about it.'”
Batista indicated that he would like to do a program with Triple H and that is all he is interested in doing, as it would be ‘The Animal”s final run in pro wrestling.
“At this point, no [Batista is not interested in doing long programs with up-and-comers], because it would be like my retirement thing. It’d be what I go out on. I’d come back and I’d do it. I would do a whole program and I’d be done. But that’s how I’d want to go out because we have such a history together and there’s so much history built in. There’s an easy story to be told and I think people would get into it and they’d like it. And Hunter, he’s just awesome to work with.”
Batista professed that he has grown tired of asking to be figured in to WWE’s future plans. Moreover, the six-time world champion acknowledged that the chances of a proper farewell in WWE are shrinking with each passing day.
“I’ve asked, but now it’s at a point where I’m tired of asking.” Batista continued, “the last time I talked to Vince about it was a while ago and I said, ‘if we say we’re going to do it, I can put it in my calendar’ but now my calendar fills up pretty [quickly]. Like, I’m already booked up for the next year and a half, so my window is getting [smaller]. I’m not getting any younger. But see, I don’t know if it’ll ever happen. That’d be the way I want to go out.”
