It is being reported via Eonline that Total Divas is indeed getting picked up for a 4th season. The news doesn’t stop there though. The show will have two brand new cast members. Who are they you ask? Well…… The two new additions to the show will be none other then Alicia Fox & Paige. That would explain why WWE has paired them up in recent weeks.
Regarding this announcement I personally have mixed emotions. I’m happy because I adore both Alicia and Paige and I think their personalities and stories outside of the ring will definitely add to the show. Not to mention it’ll draw a bigger crowd. On the other hand I’m a bit hesitant to get excited since Vince McMahon has said he doesn’t want anyone on the show to hold the divas title because of TD being pre tapped and the confusion it may cause. Which means if this is true we know that AJ Lee won’t be loosing the title anytime soon and that truly takes away the importance of the title. I have heard they’re trying to come up with a solution to that problem though so let’s hope for the best.
As far as the new cast members go I always thought Fox would’ve been a logical choice. It’ll be exciting to see if her relationship with former IC champion Bad news Barrett will be revealed or if her sister who formally worked under the name Calee Turner in developmental before being let go by WWE will make appearances on the show.
As for Paige most of her fans are confused to why she’s joining the show since she was coined as “the anti diva” and just a little while ago Paige sent out this tweet & it’s clear she’s referring to the show.
Like I mentioned above Paige’s life outside of WWE is enough to draw viewers and it’ll be interesting to see her interacting with her family in England (who if you didn’t know have their own wrestling company back home) it’ll be interesting to see if the viewership goes up with the UK audience.
All these questions and theories will soon have answers because season 4 kicks off on January 4th 2015

I LOVE THIS! They HAVE to feature Paige’s family at some point! Regardless if it’s a UK tour and she visits home on a day off? I keep telling critics of the show that the number one reason they should be watching is for the behind the scenes aspect. No complaints from me whatsoever. I see the bigger picture with this show and it has added a whole new aspect to WWE. Doesn’t really bother me if they can’t hold the championship or not.
I knew you would be excited and I am too don’t get me wrong, does that mean AJ will really be champ FOREVER. There’s no one left except Layla and Emma. Unless they start calling up NXT girls
No DOUBT they will be calling some NXT . Charlotte is already scheduled to come up soon.
Hopefully they book them properly they have so much talent that it would be a shame if its wasted.
