It was announced on RAW last night that WWE has invited Michael Sam, the first openly gay NFL draftee, to appear on next week’s RAW. IT appears that even if he wanted to accept the invite he probably wouldn’t be able to because it is being reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Sam is expected to sign with the Dallas Cowboys this week. Sam is headed to Dallas for a physical on Wednesday & if all goes well, he’ll be a member of the Cowboys practiced squad.
Sam has not yet responded to WWE’s invite.
