Santino Marella, who recently retired from in-ring action due to kneck issues, said in a interview with Canada’s Chill Magazine that he wants to make a comeback. Marella said he has multiple things wrong with his kneck & he is not cleared for physical contact due to the severity of his stenosis, but apparently with with a double fusion you can actually return to the ring with a 4 to 6 month recovery time. Marella said he is looking forward to getting surgery within the month & then have 4 to 6 months of recovery in which he will attempt to comeback & wrestle again & make one of the greatest, most memorable comebacks of all time. He said he hopes the surgery & rehab goes perfect & we will see him back in the ring sooner than later. Marella talked about SummerSlam & it being WWE’s second biggest show of the year after WrestleMania. Marella said he wont be at SummerSlam but he will be there next year. He said he wants to come back because of some unfinished business. He talked about wanting to capture the WWE championship & said it would require a miracle for him to do that. He said there is still some good wrestling in him.
