Does The “Reality Era” Mean The Return Of TV 14?

Last night on Raw Triple H coined a phrase which has everyone already speculating about what it really means. During a promo segment with Michael Cole, Triple H said he wanted to start a new era for the WWE the so-called “Reality Era”.

At the end of Raw backstage pass on the WWE network the TV-14 rating appeared. Some are speculating this could possibly be a sign of a new direction that perhaps the WWE may be phasing out the “PG-Era” at least for it’s flagship broadcast.

Even if the company does go to a more mature rating for Raw, I wouldn’t expect the same sense of “anything goes” as was the case with the “Attitude Era”. But a little more aggression of course.

This all comes off the heals of last week’s closing segment on Raw which featured a brutal beat-down by Triple H to Daniel Bryan which many viewers did not consider to be “PG”.

  1. And Christian’s commentary last week. If it was PG, i would’ve been a lot more childish. And RAW opened with a Fatal 4-way match. That doesn’t happen often.

  2. It’s very awesome that they are starting a new era. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was like the Ruthless Aggression Era or maybe even the Attitude Era. Hopefully it’s as popular as the first two. I would get more friends!
