Just found out that one of the 4Horsewomen and one of my favorite fighters who I had the pleasure of seeing seeing fight this last Sunday when she defeated Nicole “Figet” Upshaw to maintain a perfect record of 5-0 (Marina Shafir) is moving to pro competition. Read more here
The question is when will this happen and when it does will the UFC start sigining 145lbs women since that’s the weight Shafir currently fights in?? Or will she drop to the 135lbs weight class and take on competitors such as her friends Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler, or even UFC women’s battemweight champion Ronda Rousey???
I guess only time will tell, but one thing is forsure. I’m so happy about this announcement and so proud of the Super Nova from Moldova
