Happy birthday to the two sided coin AJ

Hello, fellow DTRT readers and fans
I would like to 1st sincerely apologize for being so MIA as of late. I’ve been busy pretty much just living life in the best way possible. Today however we are not here to talk about me. We are here to talk about the birthday girl who turned 25 today. The one the only April Jeanette Mendez better known as AJ Lee. To celebrate her birthday I thought it was suitable to discuss my likes and dislikes of what some would call “WWE’s Top Diva”. Lets start off with the Likes shall we? There’s no denying that the pint size athlete is passionate. Growing up her dream was to be in the WWE and today she’s living that very dream. Not only that but she has proven she can be both face and heel, a definite must when working in the WWE. Not to mention at one point she was a perfect roll model for young girls (however I don’t think we can say that anymore). Another thing that holds true is that she got people taking. Remember when she pushed punk on to Bryan sending them both through a table? Or when she skipped around the ring dressed in Kane attire? Or who could forget her betrayal on cena??
Would it surprise you though if I said none of those memories are my favorite of the birthday girl?My favorites come from when she was on NXT being that nerd everyone knew and loved. The one who would play party cake with her then onscreen BFF Kaitlyn, or how about the epic match that showed she was a force to be reckon with against Naomi on NXT? Or when she was winning matches against Tamina Snucka. That’s right folks I liked it when she actually wrestled!!!
Now that’s a perfect way to transition into my dislikes for the diva. My biggest issue is that she doesn’t wrestle. Now I know that’s not entirely AJ’s fault, you could blame it on creative but you can’t put the whole blame on creative. I mean shes gotten stale and hasn’t brought anything fresh to her character. Secondly she’s kissed more men then I can count on one hand, and what kind of msg does that send to young girls who actually like her? The thing that bothers me most is that even though she’s not wrestling she’s still the most talk about diva! How does that make any sense? Then there’s the problem that she’s ring rusty. You have people saying she should be the next divas champ, well I respectfully disagree. Maybe one day she can be champion just not now. With all do respect she doesn’t have the right or ability to carry that title yet. However that doesn’t mean she can’t be championship material, if WWE s smart enough they would take her out of these stupid storylines send her back to training because she’s in dire need of it and start building her as a WRESTLER/diva again instead of being Ziggler’s lap dog. With that said AJ Lee has a lot of work to do to earn my interest again. Right now for good reason the Divas champ Kaitlyn is at the top of my ladder and AJ is at the very bottom. I can only hope that one day she starts climbing again. Now I leave you with this. What are your thoughts on the “crazy chick” do you agree with mine? Or am I the crazy one?
