Raw Recap: April 15 2013

2 on 1 Handicap Match: Randy Orton & Sheamus vs Big Show: Orton & Sheamus got the win after hitting Big Show with a Brogue Kick & a RKO.

Josh Mathews backstage with 3MB. 3MB said they are going to the ring & call out The Shield.

3MB in the ring. They talked about what happened on Smackdown when they was about to attack Triple H when they was attacked by The Shield. 3MB said they want The Shield to come out an apologize. Brock Lesnar came out with Paul Heyman & Lesnar took out 3MB. Heyman said his client is ready for a fight & he wants a fight with Triple H. Heyman said Triple H did what knowone else could do when he knocked out Lesnar at WrestleMania. Heyman said that makes Triple H a warrior, a fighter & a man of admiration. Heyman said he would shake Triple H’s hand & tell him he respect him for what he did at WrestleMania. Heyman said Lesnar doesn’t share his opinion. Heyman said Triple H’s victory at WrestleMania just evened the score at 1 to 1. Heyman said it is time to get extreme & proposed  a Steel Cage match for Extreme Rules.

United States Championship Match: Kofi Kingston vs U.S. Champ Antonio Cesaro: Kingston got the win to become the new United States Champion. After the match Josh Mathews interviewed Kingston. Kingston said he has brought the U.S. Championship back home.

The new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler came to the ring with AJ & Big E Langston. Ziggler talked about how he cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase & became the new World Heavyweight Champion. He said it was the single greatest moment in Raw history & it was all because of him. Ziggler said there has never been a more flamboyant & charismatic as he is. Ziggler said he is just to good. He said showing off is what you do when your better than everyone else. Alberto Del Rio interrupted & came to the ring. Del Rio said he wants his rematch right now. Ziggler said Del Rio doesn’t want it now because he is Del Rio is hurt. Vickie Guerrero came out & said whether  he is hurt or not Del Rio gets his rematch & the match starts right now.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio vs World Heavyweight Champ Dolph Ziggler: Before the match could start Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter came out. Colter said the only reason why Ziggler is the champion is because of Swagger. Colter said Ziggler doesn’t deserve to be champion & Del Rio doesn’t deserve a title shot. Swagger entered the ring & Del Rio attacked Swagger sending him to the floor. Big E Langston got between Del Rio & Ziggler. Swagger pulled Del Rio down 7 slammed his leg into the ring post. Swagger put Del Rio in the Patriot Lock out on the floor & did more damage to Del Rio’s hurt ankle.

Backstage Del Rio is getting medical attention.

A 6 man tag match was announced for next week on Raw of Team Hell No & The Undertaker vs The Shield.

Prime Time Players vs Team Hell No: Team Hell No got the win.

A video of Ryback explaining his actions from last week. Ryback said at WrestleMania it was John Cena”s greatest night  & his worst. He said Cena was on top of the world & he was on the bottom. Ryback said there is only one place for them to go, me up & Cena down. Ryback said he had no choice to do what he did last week after all he has been through. Ryback talked about how Cena reached out to him & telling the WWE Universe that he was his friend. Ryback mentioned that Cena gave him his title shot when Cena was injured & said in which people wished Cena was more often. Ryback said Cena promised him that he would always have his back. Ryback said it is obvious to him that a friendship with Cena is nothing more than living in the shadow of Cena. Ryback said he is not an afterthought or a sidekick & that there is not a light bright enough not even the spotlight commended by Cena that can eclipse the force known as Ryback. He said if you was Superman say hello to kryptonite. Ryback said he was attacked by The Shield 6 times & asked Cena where was you. Ryback said the 3 time Cena was attacked by The Shield he was there every time. Ryback said he understood that Cena had priorities & was focused on one goal winning the WWE Championship. Ryback said Cena got lucky at the Royal Rumble. He said at Elimination Chamber Cena left him to defend off The Shield on his own again. Ryback said last week he sttod in the back waiting for Cena to admit he was only there because he wasn’t. Ryback said he is stepping out of Cena’s shadow & is the biggest threat to Cena’s title reign. “Ryback Rules.”

A Battle Royal match was announced for Wednesday on Main Event for the Intercontinental Championship #1 contender.

R-Truth vs Wade Barrett: R-Truth got the win.

Backstage in Vickie’s office Brad Maddox told Vickie  that the doctors said Del Rio cant compete tonight. Teddy long came in & said he has a solution & has set up a match of Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler. Vickie said she likes it & asked Teddy if Booker T knows about it. Teddy said that he doesn’t know if he does. Maddox told Teddy to got tell somebody. Teddy said that isn’t his job & for Maddox to got do it. Maddox said yall right. Vickie told Maddox that was his Job & to get out of her office.

The Great Khali & Santino Marella vs Team Rhodes Scholars: Team Rhodes Scholars got the win.

Jerry Lawler in the ring talked about how everybody ids Fandangoing & showed some of the internet videos. Lawler introduced Fandango to the ring. Fandango asked Lawler how is his hips feeling & if he could move them. Lawler said he will move his hips back to the announce table. Fandango asked who wants to go Fandangoing. He said he needs the fans to pronounce his name correctly & showed the fans how to pronounce his name. Fans started humming his theme song & doing the dance. Fandango said it was obvious that they cant pronounce his name correctly & told everybody to go Fandango themselves.

Matt Striker backstage with John Cena.  Cena said he isn’t hard to find & that later he is going to the ring & will make it easy for Ryback. Cena said he will be ready to handle his business with Ryback face to face, man to man.

Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler: Swagger got the win. After the match Del Rio attacked Swagger from behind on the stage. Del Rio put Swagger in the Cross Arm Breaker with Swagger hanging off the stage.

Matt Striker backstage with Sheamus. Mark Henry attacked Sheamus driving him through part of the set.

CM Punk with Paul Heyman came to the ring. Punk said he couldn’t enjoy the ride when he was WWE Champion because he was always looking for what was next. He was looking for his next challenge & found it in The Rock. Punk said he always wants to be better & wanted more. Punk said 1 thing that could be bigger than wrestling The Rock was taking on The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. Punk said he pushed The Undertaker to the limit. Punk hugged Heyman & walked away.

Backstage Booker T said to Teddy Long that he is overstepping his bounds & he didn’t even consult him about the match. Teddy said he knows what Booker T is thinking. Booker T said that he doesn’t. Teddy said Swagger is now the #1 contender. Booker T said Swagger will get his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match against the champ Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio.

Kaitlyn vs Nikki Bella: Brie Bella switched places with Nikki & got the win for Nikki.

A tag match was announced for Smackdown this Friday of Randy Orton & Sheamus vs Big Show & Mark Henry.

John Cena came to the ring & said the champ is here. Cena called out Ryback. Cena said last week he made an offer to whover wanted a title shot to come get some & Ryback did nothing but atracke him when his back was turned. Cena said Ryback tonight mad the WWE Universe set through a highlight reel of excuses that was boring. Cena said he understands what Ryback did just doesn’t like how he did it. Cena said Ryback lacks 2 important thing to be champion, space between his ears & a piece between his legs. Cena took off his chain & shirt & told Ryback to make a move to see if you got what it takes to earn a championship. Ryback walked away but stopped when he heard The Shields music. The Shield made their way to the ring. The Shield attacked Cena & Ryback just watched. The Shield laid out Cena with a triple powerbomb.

TNA Recap: April 11 2013

Jeff Hardy arrived backstage & was greeted by Hulk Hogan. Hogan asked Hardy if he is ready for tonight. Hardy said for this kind of match he was born ready. Hogan said to Hardy you are going to take the belt back tonight.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez vs TNA World Tag Team Champs Bobby Roode & Austin Aries: Roode & Aries won the 1st fall. Chavo & Hernandez won the 2nd fall. Chavo & Hernandez won the 3rd fall & the match to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions.

Joey Ryan approached Brooke backstage. Ryan volunteered to referee the Knockouts match again this week & said the Knockouts don’t have to apologize for their inappropriate behavior last week & that he will show them he is the bigger man. Brooke said she has already hired someone. Brooke said to Ryan that he embarrassed her last week & his behavior was ridiculous. Brooke said she has talked to her dad & that Ryan has a match for tonight & we will see who the bigger man is & Brooke told Ryan to keep his hands off of her & walked away. Ryan said but who is bigger than me.

Aces & Eights arrive at the arena on their motorcycles.

Joseph Park came to the ring & said he has issues with Aces & Eights & especially with their leader Bully Ray. Park said what Bully & his hooligans have perpetrated on this company is wrong & it stops now. Park said justice will be served tonight when Jeff Hardy wins back the World Title. Park said he has taken on his own to write up an annulment document for Brooke & Bully which he has in his hands & he will file it. Devon came to the ring & took the document & ripped it up. Devon told Park to stay out of family business & that this is a warning. While Park turned his back to pick up the ripped up document, Devon wrapped a chain around his hand & when Park turned back around Devon hit Park in the gut.

Gail Kim vs Taryn Terrell: ODB was the referee for the match. Taryn got the win.

Gut Check Elimination in the back. Adam Pearce was eliminated. Magno will face the judges in the ring later for their decision.

Backstage Hogan said AJ’s time is up & is going to take care of it right now. Hogan was asked about Sting but Hogan didn’t answer the question & walked away.

Outside the arena AJ styles was asked what’s on his mind & what’s his plan on joining Aces & Eights. AJ shoved the camera. Mr. Anderson approached AJ & gave AJ another jacket & said that we made you an offer last week & that he was afraid that he got his size wrong. Anderson said AJ should consider the offer & that he is just looking out for him.

Hulk Hogan came to the ring & called AJ Styles to the ring to get his decision. AJ came to the ring carrying the Aces & Eights jacket. Hogan asked AJ which side is he on & said that it was an ultimatum. AJ said that he doesn’t respond well to ultimatums. James Storm interrupted & came to the ring & said he isn’t out here for a decision & that he is out here because him & AJ are going to fight. Daniels & Kazarian interrupted & came to the ring. They said they’re here to mend fences with AJ. They said Hogan’s chose he wants you to make is a lose, lose decision & that they have a better proposal & want AJ on their side. They said AJ doesn’t have to stand with strangers & to come stand with his brothers & it will be us against the world. AJ walked away. Hogan said AJ will fight Storm next week.

Backstage Kurt Angle said he talked to Hogan & got a handicap match for next week with Wes Briscoe & Garett Bischoff. Angle said he will show them why he is the baddest S.O.B. in wrestling.

Joey Ryan vs Rob Terry: Terry got the win.

Backstage Hogan talked to Brooke. Brooke said that she has to be at ringside during Bully & Hardy’s match. Morgan confronted Hogan & said one day Hogan’s mistakes are all going to come crashing down on him.

Gut Check Decision for Magno: Danny Davis voted no. Bruce Prichard voted no. Magno doesn’t get a TNA contract.

Aces & Eights in the parking lot on their bikes getting Bully Ray pumped up. Bully said that he has to do this on his own. Bully wanted them to promise & he wants their word that they will let him do it on his own.

Full Metal Mayhem Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy vs TNA World Heavyweight Champ Bully Ray: Brooke was sitting in the front row for the match. It was a brutal match. Late in the match while Hardy set up a ladder to climb in the ring Taz gave Bully the time-keeper’s hammer which Bully hid in his pants. Hardy & Bully climbed the ladder & traded punches from the top of the ladder. Bully then took out the hammer & hit Hardy in the head with it & Hardy fell from the ladder crashing through a table. Bully retrieved the belt to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Brooke left disgusted that Bully won. Aces & Eights joined Bully in the ring. Bully said when you ride with the Aces & Eights you never walk alone.

Triple H Gets Second Degree Burns From Dry Ice Used In WrestleMania 29 Entrance

Triple H’s body is scarred up with 2nd degree burns he suffered at WrestleMania last weekend … but he wasn’t scorched by fire … the culprit was dry ice.

Triple H suffered nasty burns to his torso and arm after he walked through a special effects machine that was blasting dry ice to create the smoky effect as he made his entrance.

During his match, Triple H ignored the pain and shrugged it off like it was no big deal. You can clearly see the look of concern on Brock Lesnar’s face in the video clip below.
